@@Bingshuina-yp7nm bruh, CGI is any image that involves computer generated 3D graphics. The car is CGI, it is a 3D model made on a computer, the video generated is CGI since they have used a rendering engine to obtain the images. And if you think is unreal, unreal generates cgi images, hahaha

I like how there is a realistic looking crash at the end, which also look pretty damn good, but it's not like we can tell, since it's obstructed and overshadowed by the helicopter.
I can't tell no more that this is graphics. You know, almost everywhere you can tell it by small details. Like looking at Unrecord, or Matrix UE5 demo you're easily can say "it's CGI". But here, even when I see this ball and all of the madness on the scene, my brain refuse to NOT believe in this. Graphics like this + VR with AI driven NPC's and we're done
We're not that far, maybe in 4-5 GPU generations this will be mid range. The 4090 can already render amazingly realistic graphics in Cyberpunk 2077 with some mods, the car models look pretty much like real! And look at it this way, the 3060ti, one of the lower end 30 series cards can match the power of the 1080ti, the flagship card 2 generations back. So if we continue that level of progression, it's not far at all.

As a normal person, in the normal world, I could truly agree that in our Multiverse UB_909387-827- i mean our Planet Earth, We normally see floating perfectly spherical metal balls floating around cars that have the ability to Spin, No-Clip, and break the laws of physics without any occupant before eventually crashing and turning into a helicopter, so no, its not CGI guys!
GTA 6 is trying to blend realism with more stylized graphics and that's a good thing. Realistic graphics that only focuses on trying to mimic reality close as possible ages worse and just a boring thing to look at after a while.

It's a light probe (a photograph taken with a special 360 degree camera), downloaded from Google Street level. The image is used as spherical environment map. The only thing rendered is the car and the ball. Can be done with almost any modern computer, although it will take some time to render.

They will get ever closer to reality. But there will always be artifacts and the uncanny valley effect that distract us and tell us that it's fake. One day, almost all of the graphics will be AI generated on the fly, and virtually indistinguishable from reality..but something will feel fake about it. There will always be that disconnect.
so what if UAP's are just the creators of our simulation showcasing the insane quality of the reflections in this sim, Asif its a Ray tracing test or something, at least, that's what I was thinking about during this video.

Just think about the fact that it's only a matter of time before we can render stuff like this in real-time with high FPS. BeamNG might look this good one day.
