Fuck. I had a surgery last year that was supposed to be a 7-10 recovery but it took two months. I was sent home and immediately went back a day later because I was still in pain. Suddenly my stomach popped due to an abscess that was tunneling it's way out. Good god are they awful.

Praying that you get to the ER! You need IV antibiotics and a culture of the infection. I can't understand why the Dr told you to lance the wound🙏🏼
