I ride year round , this is my main mode of transportation and after years of riding a regular bike I developed health problems , neck , shoulder , wrist etc , I then looked for a bike that would help me with these issues , the day 6 dream was my choice and I've never looked back , simply no other bike comes close to this bike , one of my issues was what will people say , to my surprise the only thing I hear is ,, wow what a cool looking bike , as a side note I no longer have any health issues , I would recommend this bike to ANYONE , be it young or older riders ,
I got one of these about 6 years ago. Put many miles on it. Still LOVE it. It is heavier than your normal bike. And as my knees aged it got tougher to make the hills so I put a Hilltopper front wheel on. Now I have comfort and ease. Perfect for my arthritic joints and bad back, a regular bike was causing my sciatica to act up. I had a Specialized before this, and not being able to touch ground while seated caused a few rather spectacular crashes. One resulting in a broken rib. Ouch. But I have in the last 6 years only crashed twice and barely had a bruise since I can catch it before it goes down. All except when I went off the edge of a corner into soft dirt...there was no saving it, but I almost ended up just landing on my feet.... The other time I ran into the curb-it slowed me down until I fell over on the curb side at a standstill. A true laugh in move. No injuries but it was hard to get back up since I was laughing so hard. I love my Day 6 bike.
Okay so I just bought a used Metallic red Day 6 Dream 21 speed, and am curious about the year it was made. I have to say this Bike is totally awesome!!! Its like pedaling a Cadillac with the windows down, if that makes any sense!?!? It handles very impressively considering the head tube angle and the raked forks. It has no surprises in store for you, just an awesome ride that is as slow or as fast as you want to ride! Now I am considering buying a new one, because if something should happen to this first one, I would still have a backup Bike to enjoy!!!
To stop global warming I think these are the perfect bikes to get and I think instead of getting my first car I think I'ma get one of these days six bikes
Aside from looking like the seat post is absolutely maxed tf out and still not high enough for riders to extend their legs correctly, these bikes look like seriously sweet rail-trail cruisers

It’s actually the looks that’s not very appealing. Should look more like a chopper and is lacking suspension. If it’s a bike , it will shake and bump plenty. Will hit it into your rear end and resonate in the back. Standard bikes give you a choose to stand on your feet on the peddles to absorb shocks for a short time over the bump
actually very comfortable..I have owned mine over 6 years. Takes bumps with ease.the seat takes the bumps great I had spine surgery almost 20 years ago. This is only bike I can ride now days.
Weight? Can't get excited by riding because you value your life. You will be required to carry your AARP card. Check with your gerentologis before you embark on any physical activity.
