We went to the Lewis & Clark Caverns today. We did the moderate to difficult Classic Tour. It is 2 miles round trip. Beginning with a 1/2 mile hike up the side of the mountain (300 ft elevation change) to the cave entrance. Inside the cave there are 660 steps, mostly down, with crouching in small areas.
