though I think both games have different objectives and expectations though. Banished is about making a big and thriving city and trying to keep it together, this game is about succeeding at mini objects to slowly expand your gameplay to let you tackle more challenging experiences.

I love how games like this work well with hopping in to play a couple of runs a day without expecting too much of you.

I don't think it would be more than a day's worth of content, but it would be a good day.

@@Stomaia87 yeah, probably not more than 1 or 2 days. It's not a deep game. But it is very fun, and there really hasn't been another game like it (that I know of), so I think it would surprise Sean in a lot of ways, and spark at least a few interesting game design discussions. And it would also be hilarious. 😁

for me it can be frustrating though, I don't like to be pushed too much when I play city builders, I like to slowly watch as I build a big and thriving city and watch people working like clockwork. for me where most city builders fail is what to do with the big and thriving cities, they lack conflict and emerging gameplay besides dealing with shortages of supplies. something I liked about old Caesar and Pharaoh is that you had to deal with what you had on the map and work with other cities through commerce, diplomacy and war to complete your supply chains. for me what makes me like this game is the evolving gameplay, how you play small and short runs that get progressively more complex as you unlock more gameplay options that help you tackle more challenging runs... like most roguelikes.
