Such a gorgeous day , the brief summers that those AT states get are stunning ❤ I’m in PHX so we get blue skies 80% of the year, your channel and thru hiking make me happy , safe travels, get-it 👏👍🏼💯‼️
Congrats on finishing up VA, PA here y'all come. Enjoy the tubing and trip to DC, if you're close to Georgetown stop by GW Delicatessen and get lunch. It's been a minute since we were there, hopefully they are still as good as they were back when.
You finished VA!!! You guys are doing the trail so right🙌 If it’s not fun, why do it!? Tubing is so fun!! We tube all the time on the Allegheny River in Pennsylvania 💗 I hope you have a fantastic time in DC! I miss it so much! It’s a great place to live🥰 💕
Congratulations 🎉 on another border crossing 🎉 Tubing sounds like a lot of fun! I suspect that “some” people don’t end up finishing their own Thru Hike because they focus too much on just hiking everyday with some zeros and Re-supplies. I suspect if more people took their time and did some fun things, like Tubing for a day with friends met on trail, they wouldn’t get burnt out. I don’t know as I’ve never hiked it. However, my theory makes sense to me 😂 Have fun in DC! ❤
Great job, you guys, though for some reason I never doubted you'd get that far. 340 around HF is one wretched road, though. But the confluence of the SR and PR really is so nice!
I have been told that Virginia is the mother of Texas. I don't know who the father is, but I'm kinda suspecting Tennessee. "Backpacking forces one, by necessity, to walk the balance line, the edge of the sword, between disciplined deprivation and hedonistic gratification: a tiring, sweat-soaking day ends with a plunge into a cool stream; an arduous, lung-bursting climb is followed by a magnificent panoramic sweeping view; and there is the continuous contrast between life on the trail and civilized pleasures-a warm meal, a hot shower, clean dry clothes. It is by walking this line between sacrifice and satisfaction that one finds fulfillment. -ROBERT BROWNE, The Appalachian Trail: History, Humanity, and Ecology, 1980
Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 out of VA! You're one of the first few thru hikers I've followed all the way through daily. Love that you're getting closer up north to me. I'm hoping to hike a part of the CT AT this late summer and I don't see much of it on vlogs. Maybe it's boring 😂
