The only Disney blogger I know of is Adam the Woo but he films at other locations in and around Orlando, Celebration and Kissimmee. His channel is called TheDailyWoo
That's great, glad you can do what you can, because I'm exhausted and was not up for long and went back to bed and finally got up again around 12 to eat lunch. I'm in a powerchair myself. This heat is not helping.. ran the fan and so on, full blast. Microwave is beeping at me need to go reheat my pizza for 30 seconds.
I'm in my 60 and know nothing about Disney anymore. And I don't know what a vlogger is. LOL! Welcome back Shaun! Daisy is growing up so fast! She will be getting her driver's license soon and your fur-god is so sweet! She pouts so well!
A couple of tips that might be useful for some people: 1. If you're disabled, you can get the binmen to collect and return your wheely bin to say outside the front door - there should be a form on your local council website (usually district or borough level). 2. Halfords do a tyre change at home service: book a slot and they'll come to you with the equipment and tyres. It takes about 10 minutes and they just need enough room to get to the tyres.
My bin men are good at collecting bins & recycling from right outside my door but are a nightmare for then leaving the bins, recycling boxes & bags all over the path both mine & the neighbours. If it's just bins I can have fun sending the empty bins flying lol but if its the recycling bags & boxes... well I have ended up with the bag handles wrapped round a powerchair wheel, been unable to get it untangled & had to drag it several streets until the handle falls apart, have also run over many box lids breaking them. Council must wonder what the heck is going on on this street as they must have people ordering new box lids & bags very frequently because of me!
That feeling when you're picking someone up or dropping someone off and you're panicking that there'll be no free disabled parking bays. So glad there was one for you Gem.
Hi, this is Darren from London. I am a disabled person Wheelchair as well. I think your daughter Daisy is very kind and helping you seems like you have a really nice family.
Hello Gem. I know you missed Sean but it is good you had Daisy with you. It's nice to see you going out and about. I don't get out much because of my Intestines. I have been so badly let down by surgeons.
We(my lovely wife and I) are fortunate enough to have a second home about 160 miles apart so one of us-almost weekly-goes for a couple days. I think it is very good for our relationship to be apart once in a while. It makes me appreciate her even more...
@@Wheelsnoheels 10 years but we have known each other since childhood and drifted apart for a long time. Im retired and she still works-critical care RN. Since her job is so demanding I’ve become kind of her caregiver although I’m the wc user. Good to be happy!😊
Use some t-cut for the scratches will come right out as for blogger I’d say Kyle Pallo and great having daisy as a solo wheelchair user without a carer it’s not easy but love the vlogs
It was nice to see how you got your chair into your car on the way to Heathrow. I'm in the middle of the process of getting my first chair. I'm ambulatory, and because I'm in mid-town Toronto, don't have a car. But when I eventually move to the UK I will have one, or at least do car share. While I could usually just pop it in the boot or back then walk around, there's some days where that wouldn't be a good idea. (EDS + dysautonomia). I'm getting a rigid frame chair ("type" 4 here in Ontario, Canada), with low back. The robot vac looks like an awesome idea! BTW Do you know Izzy Wheels in Ireland? They have licensed Disney wheelchair wheel covers. You can also design your own and they'll print them!
Thanks for watching the vlog. I think I’ll do a bit more of a video in getting my chair in and out. Ooo I don’t know Izzy wheels, I’ll check them out 👍🏻 thanks. Are you moving to the uk then?
Be careful reaching behind front seats! That is a great way to injure rotator cuff (you know that). Just mentioning for other viewers. (people who retrieve purse in back seat while in front!)
My daughter is called Daisy too. She is not my poo pickerupper though. She is grown up and doesn't live with me anymore. I have to clean up my own mistakes lol. I just found your channel and you're my new favourite youtuber BTW.
Great videos I was surprised that you didn't call this video coping for 10 days without your husband a great small look into your life :-) your relationship with your family is very sweet. I enjoyed watching you and Daisy working together.
I can highly recommend supermarkets that offer click and collect Tesco/Sainsbury’s click and collect service was my lifeline during lockdowns and for the winter flu/virus season.
The hand controls that you have for your vehicle are they easy to use? Just that i was thinking of getting them for mine. I did have my car converted with a left foot accelarator but cannot use it and was advised months after having them fitted it is not that safe to use. So saving up for hand controls
Ive had quite a lot of questions about them, so I think Ill make a video soon. But if you cant wait. seach "wheelsnoheels driving" and all my car vlogs should come up
"I'm picking up the Dogs poo - no one else's!" 😂 I just got a puppy and my Dad takes him out to the toilet armed with bamboo canes to put in the grass where he poops for collection later. 😂 If your shoulder gets sore from using your hand controls, they may need an adjustment. 😊
Practical question: do you put the seat belt on your chair when it’s in the front seat? Tie down in trunk? I haven’t but I always worry about shifting in the event of an accident. Thanks. Love your channel! Been a huge help!
I don't think I could do hand controls without cruise control! And I can lock the brakes on mine so I can stretch at red lights. Makes a huge difference!
Hi! Love your videos! I just started being a wheelchair user I am ambulatory I struggle with being able to balance things on my thighs so things always fall for me :( any tips?
I’ve never been able to keep items on my lap. It doesn’t matter if it’s a feather or a heavy bag… it WILL eventually fall off 😂 The ground/floor isn’t level even if it looks like it is.
Some people are lucky enough to have live-in support and so they don't tend to need to do a lot of things for themselves, so they aren't prepared when it does rarely happen. Someone with less (or no) support has to find ways to do things for themselves, so what may seem obvious to you or I may not be for someone with more substantial support. None of us know what we don't know. I have my shopping delivered so on the rare occasion I pop into a supermarket when out, I don't have a grabber either, although I have lots at home!
@@mydogeatspuke I have a wife and son still living with me. They both work so I have to manage alone but even when they are here I want as much independence as possible. I velcro my grabbers for even around the house. They never seem to be close when needed if I don't.
@mydogeatspuke Not everyone is you either... She even took it in the manner it was intended. That young lady is growing up fast. Her life will continue on.. So becoming independent now while there is still extra help will only allow less stress and anxiety later.
I have a question??? What do you need your glasses for? 😊 I need glasses really badly and i've always wonderd what you need them for and how strong they are ❤ Much love and support from Belgium 🇧🇪✌️
Ive needed glasses since about the age of 17 when I started working on computers. I struggle to see distance, over the years they have got worse and my glasses are pretty strong now.
AllEars, Ordinary Adventures, Fresh Baked, PC Dev for Disney vloggers. If you want a vlogger who is a bit more honest, Kevin Heimbach is good, too. I watch a few others but they've been mentioned already (Mammoth Club and The Tim Tracker).
