Such an amazing life to have....way better than those mediocre paying corporate jobs where you're forced to sit at 1 place for 14 hours a day, wake up at 6 am daily out of acute stress of what horrors that day's tasks hold for you, get fat and ugly and destroy your vision permanently, all while having the pleasure of getting rebuked and insulted freely by your boss. A model's life really looks like the dream!
You woke up at 10:00!! Me : always thought that fashion models had to wake up super early . Also I wake up at 4:30 am . So waking up at 10 for me is like someone telling me they sleep right on time and still woke up at like 2:00 or 3 pm . (No hate )
I still don't get how these photoshoot can function with these last minute calling. What if models can't make it on time or busy/in a shower at that time???
Waking up at 10 is a priviledge for me! But um happy i don't have to get butt naked infront of creepy people to change into different clothes.. you loose some you win some i guess
@@Yutornado No, she didn't. Lots of Street Style Photographers stand outside Fashion Shows and Casting Buildings to take pictures of influencers and models.
Prabal Gurung is a fine artist. He made a good decision to move to the US. It would have been a total bummer for him if he had stayed back home in Nepal. We are so proud of him. Prabal is one and only international fashion designer from Nepal.
thank you so much for sharing this i didnt know anything abt the designer but i thought the dress she showed in this was gorgeous hope he gets more recognition
I wonder why they always call models at last minutes. Wouldn’t they have a shooting schedule planned ahead? Do they just “ah I remember there’s a new collection, let’s call her for pictures now”?
Right? I always have that same question whenever I see videos like this. How can this model industry work? Can they just book people in advance to make sure nothing go wrong?
It might be an emergency like the booked model had to drop out for whatever reason and they had to call a random model with similar measurements/looks to fill in since they already have everything rented for that day. You can see in this same video that she goes to a casting call first so they jobs do plan ahead.
@@tammystiletto But don't they prepare collections since weeks? How could it all be a "last minute industry"? I mean when you prepare sandwiches at noon you can't have everything prepared for all the clients but I don't get how this kind of industry could be everytime at last minute.
Woah cool! So crazy you had to run to your job 😂 this may sound dumb, but I’m from England, are there specific parts of New York you have to live close to in order to be a fashion model?
