Love your vlog. Just a note. Wireless keyboards fit under monitor risers, or most risers are designed that way. So you can just slide out your keyboard and have more room when you’re not using your computer. You could also use your big tv/smartboard as a third screen. If you slide it over to fave you, and keep the kids up on that, you’ll be able to read their work and expressions so much better. The little people will be almost life-size. Hope that helps.

I'm very interested to see what you are putting inside their binders. I know you showed a little bit but I would like to see the manipulatives and such. I am teaching my first grade at home along side his teacher on the computer and that would really help me know what things to use to help him learn. I also wanted to mention that the alphabet sheet that you are using as a word builder is genius and I love your ideas!!!! ❤👍 I'd love to see more!! Great job!

I was sad I didn’t have a 2nd monitor, but I never thought about using a small tv. I have one just the size you do, with HDMI hookups. 🥰🥰🥰 I’m over the moon happy. I splurged and ordered a wireless keyboard & mouse too.

TPT has free frames and borders which may be easier than blocking out the letters and adding your own.

Great desk set-up. I am surprised they are letting you use fans in the classroom. I am from New York State and no fans are permitted (because germs will be blowing in the air). They removed all tables in classrooms for social distancing. You are so lucky. I hate desks. LOL, Best of luck.

That desk mouse pad is ADORABLE! Also, I did the same thing with binders for my kids! Especially when we come back for A/B days, they have to empty the desk out daily since they will be sharing. So I thought binders were the easiest way to transport things to and from home. I hate that you have to buy all of your students' materials though!! Where did you get the hole punched zippered clear pouch from?

I've noticed the hand sanitizer slime. I'm making my own hand sanitizer spray with alcohol, tea tree and vitamin c oils. Bonus: It does double duty as Lysol, which we also cannot find here.

Look into rechargeable mouse and keyboard - my keyboard charges in 2/3 hrs (can be used while plugged in) and lasts about 2 weeks.

I work in a hospital and when I heard the bell I thought it was going to be a code blue for a sec 😂🙂

I know it is sooo tempting to get that bulletin board all cute and colorful, but honestly, I would leave it blank. I have been doing virtual learning with my 2nd grader nephew and all of the kids are already so incredibly distracted, and I think if there was a busy bulletin board directly behind the teacher, it would be even more distracting. Also, on google classrooms, the teachers little window is so tiny, you can't read anything on the wall behind her anyways. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

Hi! This may be a little bit of a dumb question but bear with me lol- when using both computers to do my zoom meet- am I setting one as a host and the other as a co host or can I just login on both as the host but still view the kids on one and share on the other.. does that make sense.

Love your videos! Im first grade teacher in Canada! Im shocked at how much of your own money you have used to purchased things that should be supplied to by your district/union. I know the school system is different but masks, hand sanitizer, additional monitors, etc should be necessary items to teach virtually!

Girl, you have been out of the south too long. You are beginning to speed talk the way "outsiders" do! The whole speech setting up about the student binders was super fast! Lol. (Alabama girl here). I sooo hope the air conditioning really gets installed this time. Not just for cooling but for better breathing too. I would hold on to the new fan just in case the air quits working. Have you thought of using whiteboard paint as you did for your closets, on those green chalkboards?
