If you are married why wait to have a baby? Its'nt the whole point of getting married is to start having babies? And don't believe the lie that you are to young and immature to start a family. And you can have it all, career and family at the same time. Its not true, you have to choose. I can't tell by your avatar. If you are a woman make your career a homemaker there is nothing wrong with being at home and raising children its a worth while profession few are chose to have. I'm 47 and it has been my life long dream to be a housewife only I was not given the right path to follow my dream job. I'm single, never married, and have no children. And there is no way I'd attempt to try and have a baby at my age, that will be cruel to any child. I'm old enough to be a grandma not a mama. That is unless I do end up getting married I'd end up adopting an older child this way it would be far to the kid, and they would not end up with elderly parents. My mom (26) and dad (25) got married started their family in their mid 20s, mom was 27 when she had my sister and dad was 26. And my parents were in their mid 40s when all of the kids in my family were teenagers. And that's the perfect age to be able to deal with teenagers too. The truth the main stream media does not want you to know is Women and men do have a very short time to start a family. The longer you wait the harder it will be to get pregnant. Women start progressing slowly into menopause in their 30s and 40s. Its one of the reasons why so many couples struggle with infertility. Plus what kid wants to have elderly parents. When you are in your 20s you have all that energy to run after a toddler.

@@veganvintagegeek935 a lot of things wrong with this comment. Firstly, no, the “point of marriage” is not just to procreate. For many couples, they are content never having children. Marriage is so much more than the expectation to procreate, and as a society we would be better off if we didn’t apply this pressure to young women. Encouraging a stranger to become a homemaker and have children is bizarre. You don’t know this person, and they didn’t ask for your opinion on their life choices. Not everyone is suited to be a mother either.

@@veganvintagegeek935 this comment is just- wow. the whole point of marriage isn't to start having babies in order to create a family. it's to make a commitment to be with the the one person you love for the rest of your life, and babies are not a necessity in this. telling someone they should be a housewife is just weird. lots of women are mothers but also work at the same time because they don't have to choose between one or the other. if i ever become a mom i would also choose to work, like many strong mamas around me. you can get the best of both worlds despite what you may think. besides, not everyone is able to have children, wants to have children or is suited to have children. we shouldn't pressure young women to have babies as soon as they hit their 20s. ps. my parents had me in their mid 30s so i guess to you that would be considered 'elderly,' but i'm so forever grateful for them.
