Deliveroo gives you a free bag for sure! Uber Eats didn't give me a free bag I had to pay for it I think - you can use the Deliveroo bag to deliver Uber Eats.

It's more because drivers/riders are using multiple apps at the same time. So they don't accept the order and then deliver another apps order. So customers wait longer and get cold food. I don't mind staff telling me to accept the order because of this reason. The apps are happy for us to work for other apps but we can't be picking up orders from two apps at the same time. Stealing food happens also so that's another reason but I think the first reason is a bigger reason.
Yes, it is a problem here in Glasgow. There are riders stealing food and now restaurants which never asked us to click on "COLLECTED" are telling us to do so.

what do you do about food delivery Insurance. and what it costs. What other costs do you have to do this. How quick do you get paid. And how do you sign up, what you need etc
No insurance needed on a bike or electric bike. Only cost is the bike and your time! You get paid every week but there is an option to withdraw your balance instantly - I never bother and there may be a charge. Go to the websites to sign up - they will tell you what you need exactly. On a bike you pretty much need your bike, phone, delivery bag and a power bank and you are good to go!
I'm using an electric mountain bike - my dad designed this bike many years ago! He has an electric bike shop in Nottingham called PoweredBicyles. He doesn't sell this one anymore but he has newer bikes - my bike is old haha.
I feel your pain. The issue with the rack is that I don't think it's as stable for drinks. I see other riders with a setup and maybe if the bag is setup to keep drinks stable it could be fine. Worth a try mate - I will one day try it out because my back hurts from time to time too.

I live within my means - I live at home with my parents, I don’t buy things I don’t need and I don’t have a social life - I work everyday because I love what I do. This means I can create content almost every day and reach millions of people. So I get a bit of money from deliveries, from RU-vid, TikTok and brand deals. It’s not much but it’s enough to keep me a float and save some money. Im not just delivering food…I’m a social media marketer and that is an invaluable skill that people would pay me lot of money to do for their company…the thing is I would rather have my own business than work for someone else 😉
I like my current delivery bag and it’s all black. I have it linked in the description of my videos. I don’t like branded bags because they are usually obnoxiously bright and the logos are big. It makes sense for the delivery companies because they want marketing from the bags but it’s not great for delivery people but yet again the bags are usually free or discounted. I also like my Stuart bag because it’s not like the other companies and is well designed.
Ok seriously WTF I just created an account logged in to see how the app works entered my direct deposit info then went to the next even and said your account has been deactivated due to suspicious activity wtf happened. After numerous emails and effort I'm permanently deactivated because of something that was their fault. I found out about trevorhacks_01_ from some recent reviews I read online and I was reactivated as of 2 hours ago. Chances are pretty high if you aren't at fault and can convey that when talking to them... it appears that I failed my background review which was the basis for the unaware deactivation I don't know how they managed to pull this through, but I'm back.,
They need to improve the payment 0.6 miles I get £4.8 and 3.6 miles I get offer with £6 pound not like £8 specially going through the town centre and village and max speed 30 and 40
Yesterday I applied as a driver at deliveroo. First I would like to do this part time and if its goes well I will do it full time. I must try. Not the easiest job I think but should be okay. 😁🤞
It's best done as a side hustle. Some people do it full time but I wouldn't recommend doing that long term. An electric bike is the most cost efficient way to do it part-time.
How can I apply for deliveroo? They take so long to reply, I been waiting for like 10 months and then I had the message that I didn’t considerate and after I guess was expired and now I have to apply again?
Do you have battery woes, I mean the battery is the heart of the bike how do you deal with that considering I guess the battery is the highest cost on a bike and doesn't last forever, do you claim on insurance? I don't know.
