What does it have to do with being a black or not? Stop playing this victim card over and over. I'm from middle east and i never brand myself with it, you can be who the fuck ever yo want and no one gives a damn.
When people film these kinds of day in life of an x, don’t forget that we as viewers didn’t click because we want to see you dress, drink coffee or etc. We want to see what do you do as an electrical engineer and not what kind of coffee you like. Cut video short
It depends on what you want to do/focus on in your career. I focus was on communications. It wasn’t offered as a class specifically for learning MATLAB when I was in SJSU, but it was extensively used in my communications classes - check out if there’s stuff similar to SJSU’s EE 112, 160, and 161. I did take a matlab specific class as it was offered at the community college that I transferred from (Laney College - ENGIN 77), so I would check there. Hopefully this helps. Oh and please get an internship if you haven’t done so already. I never had any internships and it hurt me landing jobs after I graduated.
Consider learning MATLAB independently, even if your current school doesn't utilize it much. It's a core skill for electrical engineers and can provide a significant advantage in your career. Most of the old timers built their softwares with matlab, so you will need to learn it to continue or change their work.
I’m in school for computer engineering as of right now at Maryland I’m trying to really learn a lot this summer so I can come back ready for my sophomore year . Any tips?
All my expereince with engineering work before this was mainly my labs and electives in college. I selected the ones that would directly affect my hiring process. But Ive worked for 7 years at other non engineering jobs.
