Such a great video! Question though - since you work for a company, are you still able to work freelance on your own projects for other clients? I'm not sure what the policy normally is for that kind of stuff. I am currently applying for jobs myself, and I'd love to work for a company, but I would also love to still have occasional clients on the side at my own will. Thanks!
Personally I generally don’t do freelance, it’s just not something that I enjoy at the moment. However when I have done freelance, my job has never minded, so long as it doesn’t mean I come into work as a zombie. Your time, is your time to do anything that you want.
Day in the life of a freelance illustrator with a family: 7:00 wake up 8am to 10pm, tell the kids to shut up, clean up, behave, stop yelling, stop bothering, home schooling, etc 10-10:30 pm. Start work. Nodding off at the desk. 10:45- sleep
