Hi! So I have a question. I am auditioning for UMich MT this year and I know the MT program over there is super amazing. If I’m being honest, I really despised academic classes in high school, to be fair I mostly took AP classes so it was extremely difficult. I’m wondering if the academic classes at Michigan are super difficult and unbearable, or if the MT program makes it all worth it. Thank You!!

i’m a voice major there and the classes are tough but it’s worth it!! the majors are pretty similar between voice performance and musical theatre :)

Heyyy! I’m a junior in high school right now and I was wondering how the scholarships are at Michigan? I love this school and even though it’s 10 hours away from my house I think it’s worth the travel! The tuition is just sooo much. Also, I’m literally not flexible at all but I can move..what do you propose I do to prepare for more intense dancing/auditions at a university like Michigan? Thanks girly! Also I’ve been binge watching your Michigan videos...haha. 💕 Also you’d be a senior when I’m a freshmen MT major so I’d love to meet you sometime if that happens to be the case 🥺

im not samantha haha but i would say if your school has a dance team or offers dance classes, definitely take those!! if your school doesn’t offer them then you can go to a local studio, that offers walk in classes as well!! and if all else fails, RU-vid videos are your best friend haha hope this helps :)
