Your whole family dope. Something about the raw real life normal-ness that I love. It makes me feel like my regular if still important. Like families like mine that aren’t stupid rich still matter. Keep representing!
Venecia H Yes he is and I wouldn't be able to go through this with him and the kids, they all play a part in keeping me sane. if PA is your dream, go for it! You can do it!
Adanna The PA Thank you so much for being such an inspiration. You show that with true passion for what you do, no matter the current circumstance, it can be done. Yes! PA is my dream career! It has been for years now. So now its time to make it my reality!
I definitely needed to see this video. I'm currently a full time student, parent of 2 boys, 2 1/2 and 10 months, and pharmacy technician. I needed a realization that determination is key. Thank you.
Your videos are awesome ! I graduated from PA school in May and I wish there were videos like this around when I was going through "the struggle" lol. Enjoy the journey, it will be over before you know it !!

Andrea Hibbert thanks girl! I'm going to put out as much information as I can! I definitely love doing them. You keep working hard at getting that BSN and you'll be at a great advantage for PA school!
Loved the video,, so much fun. I admire you PA student, wife and mother of 2 btw your babies are so adorable and your hubby looks very supportive. Can you make a video about your undergrad What classes did you take each year, volunteering, what was your mayor please please, thank you so much for this video really enjoyed it😍
I have been a PA (In Dermatology) for almost a year now and watching this brings back soooo many memories!! PA school was hands down the most challenging task to date but I literally have NO regrets(EVMS C/0 2016)!! Keep at it, stay consistent and before you know it, you'll be graduating and proudly sporting your LONG WHITE COAT!!! Kudos and many blessings to you and your beautiful family!!!
So glad I found this channel! I just submitted all 12 (!!!) applications, just twiddling my thumbs waiting to hear back for interviews. Lol this is awesome. You're gorgeous and your family is as well!
Carly J You'll be fine, generally PA students submit an average of 10 applications so yo're right on par. Keep me posted on any interviews you get offered.
You’re lucky to have a supportive study group! Looks so good to see minority students sticking together. Sad to say it was not the same for me during nursing school. They were very “cliquish” and somewhat immature, pretty much weren’t interested in helping everyone but only helping their “friends” like not wanting to share or compare notes or even study together in a cohesive manner. Most of them were just looking out for themselves, not caring if someone else had struggles (sort of like crabs-in-a-barrel mentality). I always thought minorities usually stick together, but it took me going to nursing school to learn that definitely is not the case. I felt so disheartened and discouraged. Thank God I got thru it. It’s nice to see you’re in the midst of mature, funny , and supportive group of people. So happy for you! P.S. I’m seriously thinking of a career change. Your videos and others like it have inspired me so much. Thank you so much for sharing your journey! 😊
Wow, Its always crazy to hear that people start to rethink where they are in their career after seeing these videos. It's really crazy. As far as the "cliques" I know what you mean, but it's actually quite refreshing in school because although individuals have groups that they tend to study with (you just mesh better with certain individuals), our class shares everything. There's a google drive that everyone puts their study guides on and it helps tremendously.
❤️❤️ You are sooooo inspiring and amazing!!! I am just starting (just finished my third week) and I honestly was already burning out, as I am doing this as a single mother of a one year old, but this video has motivated me to keep pushing for her! Thank you so much for sharing your journey and I would love to see what a school day looks like for you balancing class time, study time, and family time! Thanks!!
+Danielle Lacy you can do it the first month of PA school always seems like you're just inundated with work and studying and you can't make it but trust me you will be able to make it through just take it one day at a time
I'm getting ready to change my career and am applying to a PA program. I too am a mom, wife and hopefully a student soon. It's been since 2013 since I finished grad school for psychology. Balancing is so hard. You rock
This is real life!! I love your channel! New sub, I just enroll to complete my bachelors in health science pre PA, I’m so excited and nervous! I was in school for surg tech, but after much consideration I think PA is more or where I want to go! And your channel is truly helping me!! Love your spirit!!
Thank you and congrats on your narrowing down PA as a career choice! I'm enjoying my journey so far, still a ways to go but I'm moving! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing
Oh my gosh..a mommy and going to school i can only imagine! A video about a day at school would be awesome :) I was also wondering if you have to take organic chemistry during a PA program if you do not take it prior to getting into the program (assuming it is an optional prerequisite) thank you for your videos Adanna!
Lauren LaTour I'm not sure how all PA schools work, but I know the ones I applied to required me to have completed all of my coursework, prior to matriculation, and all of those schools required OChem. Note that matriculation is just that, starting school, not being accepted to the program. Hope this helps, and you're welcome for the videos!
I just discovered your videos and I love them! They're super helpful! I'm starting off at a community college and then I'm transferring after 2 years to a 4 year college. Does it lower my chances of getting into PA school Adanna?
I'm so finished! LOL! The whole "scoliosis" part just about killed me! Hahaha. I can't wait to finally start next year! Thanks for these amazing videos. :)
Ocee Jay it's a very convoluted answer but technically yes. I'm going to put a video out about that so stay tuned for it but like I stated short answer is yes.
Hey +Of The Essence I'm sorry I don't really advertise that at the moment just for privacy reasons. However I will probably do a video that at a later time in the future. Stay tuned for that...
