This comment is for all mammas out there... dont ever compare your babies with others... Jess has experience from teaching so thats why Elliana is able to do probably more things then others... ofc working with your baby/kid helps them a lot. Not eberybody has the same knowledge or even time. So please to all mammas out there dont feel that you are not doing a good job. Babies start walking, talking, etc at different months/age. They are not the same and thats what they make them unique/ yours. Enjoy watching her videos but dont ever compare your baby with hers! Hopefully you dont get it as a mean comment.

From a mama with a 3 year old son and 9 month old daughter. One of the things I did to prepare my son to be a big brother, I got him a baby doll and started setting up the baby stuff. We told him all about his baby sister in mama's belly. We had him practice with his baby doll. How he needs to be gentle with her. It was one of the best things. He is the sweetest big brother and they are so close and loving to each other.

I moved from Utah to Wisconsin when my baby was one month old! It was a long three days in the car, but baby did so good! It’s nice because he slept almost the whole time. It was sad though not being able to set up a nursery for him ahead of time, especially since it was my first pregnancy. But I do think it was easier moving after he was born than when I was pregnant!

Thank you for being such a great role model ! I found you one RU-vid and our daughters are exactly the same age and I followed you along on your journey since we both were on the same one. Gave me great ideas! Without you I wouldn’t have gotten through breastfeeding! Or maybe anything . You taught me how to be an amazing mama!❤️❤️❤️

I'd love your Ottoman that can be filled up with hundreds of colorful balls, Jessica. Elliana loves playing with 'em. If a big recreation room, including a stage, were to turn into a pit, then it could be filled up with millions of balls. She's on her early learning stage. I watched "Sesame Street" in the 1980's. I learned phonics, alphabet and counting. I had a chance to know the characters. I've heard of "The Ballad of Casey McPhee", named after children's classic book. I watched Guy Smiley's mini-game shows. I've heard the song called "C Is for Cookie". I've seen Ernie squeezing the rubber ducks to make squeaky noises. Elliana may squeeze her rubber duck. I've especially heard of Two-Head Monster's lullaby. You said on your vlog that you're moving to North Carolina in the fall, especially after bearing your baby son. I as a Virginia native lived in Fayetteville, N.C., from 1984 to 1990. 😃💗😃💗😃💗

She is soooo clever for her age. I think that the fact that you are a teacher is totally a plus. Me and my twin sister are teachers and my nieces is now 3 years old and she was able (just as sweet Eliana ) to recognize parts of the body, animal sounds and many other things (English for example because we are Spanish speakers). These videos are so cool and specially helpful for mums that might not have a teaching education but want to help their kids. Great job.

First of all I love your videos! I started following you during my first pregnancy, my sweet baby girl is almost five months now. Its such a pity that the Usborne books don’t ship to Ireland, they look amazing. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy, I am so excited to finally see your sweet baby boy!

Aww, thank you so much!!! I know! :( I believe they do ship to military bases overseas, but other than that, it is limited. Maybe once I grow my stash, I can do some book giveaways!!!

You such a sweet momma!! But do you make everything into a learning thing? Somethimes its good for a child to 'just' play. Without counting or colournaming etc. (I dont mean this in a bad way)

Aww definitely not! She has plenty of playtime! 😆😅 She plays most of the day - she is great at independent play.

I have a 12 month old baby girl and I am almost 18 weeks pregnant with baby girl #2! Yay!!! We got a double BOB jogging stroller (a hand-me-down from my cousin!) and then we also found a used in almost perfect condition UppaBaby Vista stroller that we are going to use for more “every day”. I’m really excited about them!

I was wondering since you were a teacher if you had any suggestions for me I am fixing to be 38 on August 26th but I only have a 5th to 6th grade reading level and I have the Amazon kindle app and I'm trying to improve my reading and spelling I am dyslexic also I've asked others but all they did was laugh at me and called me names so any help would be appreciated thank you

Michelle, It looks like Jess hasn’t had a chance to respond, so I hope you don’t mind if I do. I am also a teacher, just finishing my 26th year, and I have taught several students with dyslexia. I would recommend: 1) Use the features on your Kindle app (highlighter, font sizes) to help you focus on smaller portions of text at a time. If it has a read aloud feature, use it when you need support. 2) Make use of audiobooks to read books at your mental and emotional level. (Yes, audiobooks are part of reading, even if people say otherwise.) Even if you read at a 5th-6th grade level, you are an adult woman, and you need stories on that level too. 3) Use read aloud, voice recognition (talk to type), and spell check programs to help you with writing tasks. I have heard these are available through Google, but Dragon Naturally Speaking has always been a good program too. 4) If you choose to work with a tutor, look for one who is Orton-Gillingham certified. That is a program that is highly effective for most students with dyslexia. Most importantly, don’t let anyone put you down for having dyslexia. Every student with dyslexia that I have taught has been very smart. Their brains just work differently. If you need a boost of inspiration, read Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. It’s the story of a girl with dyslexia who has hidden it for years, until a truly special teacher comes along. My students LOVE this book! Best of luck with your journey. I have confidence in you! Best, Amie

@@amietedeschi3203 thank you for all the info I also have scoliosis , cerbral polsy and arthritis and I also have some speech problems and I'm 4"8 and will be 38 on August 26th I get called dum, stupid , shorty and a lot of different kinds of names because when I do read I tend to read out loud and I studder on the hard words for me like pillow is hard for me to say but I can read it fine so I've been made fun of all my life for being short and having trouble reading and because I have trouble saying some words and I start studdering when I try to say them a lot so thank you for not making fun of me and actually helping 😁
