Julia! Congratulations on graduating high school! How exciting, let me know if there's anything I can shed light on, I remember how overwhelming it all was. & Thank you for your encouragement, I appreciate you ~ 🌹🙈😄
Hi there! I am an early childhood undergrad and discovered my love for interacting with easl children and plan to become bilingual. Thankyou for inspiring me some more to chase my postgraduate career plans.
Hi Sunyoung! Thanks for watching and supporting~ I bought a yearly subscription for Gogo speech for around $130 with my own money. Its been really worth it. Other than this, I look around for free materials mostly, because it can really add up! Were you interested in trying it out? :)
Recent SLPA graduate here! I’ve done my practicum focusing on EI. I did not have the experience at a school setting. Thank you for your vid! It was very helpful! 😃
AHHH CONGRATULATIONS on graduating!!🤗 I'm glad I was able to give you some insight :) It's been awhile since I've done EI and would love to hear your insights as well... especially as a new graduate with fresh insights on the latest research! Good luck with your SLP journey Dar~
Hey! I’m really interested in becoming a speech therapist. I have a BS in Elementary Education. How was the schooling? Was it really competitive? Was it very challenging? Any info is appreciated!
Hi Jackie! I would say letters of recommendations where professors can speak to your character plus a strong personal statement are key. ALSO!! Lots of grad schools waive the application fee if you attend an informational session or if you apply early (like on CSDCAS), which definitely helps bc the fees can add up very quickly T___T and last but not least, I tell everyone to go to the cheapest program possible. Jobs look to see if you have your CCCs/licensing, rather than where you went. Hope this helped!
@@dileevip Actually because of you, I went back to comment on someone else who commented. I thought it was a bug and they didn't actually exist lol. And yes, 화이팅!
Hi Naseer! There are plenty of masters programs that accept international students, like NYMC and University of Louisiana for example. You can look deeper into the schools' websites and program requirements depending on which state you are interested in going to. Best of luck to you my friend!
