Her nickname for her dad has become “hun dad” 😹. Also, what I find most fascinating about Franki is the way she expresses herself through song lyrics. For instance “Thunderstruck” from AC/DC was her favorite song, and when she’d get excited, she’d start singing it. Like when her grandparents would show up at the door. She’s grown so much from 2-3, she’s practically a little adult now.

She's also very good on the rhythm and of the rhymes and songs she recites. Her Mum sings beautifully and her Dad plays guitar so she's exposed to lots of tunes. She's even more advanced in vocab and grammar now and acts as interpreter of her younger sister's words to their parents.

My granddaughter was exactly the same. She even made a RU-vid video of herself giggling at her reflection on the Ipad, backing out of view and then crawling back into view and giggling again 😂 I saw her doing it and thought it was cute. The amazing thing is that she is uploaded it to RU-vid on her mother's account that she had password protected. The first my daughter knew of it was when she got a message saying 'Congratulations 🎉you have just uploaded your first video' 😮

YES, please do other follow-up videos. I have been watching Frankie and Stevie, her younger sister for months and their verbal acuity and usage in general is really astonishing. Both parents are musically inclined, playing and singing...I think this adds to the girls' verbal skills and appropriate utterances... which happen all the time!

I like watching professionals share their expertise. Wired and a couple other channels have a whole series. I really like the ones with Erik Singer and his breakdown of different accents. Don't let a couple of negative comments get to you. So many people are impressed by these little girls. I just found their channel a few days ago and binge watched a bunch. The cuteness overload was wonderful 😊 I'm going to check if you ever made that part 2 😉

They are divine little girls, I worry too about the pedophiles who view them, even more that they are safe in their lives and hopefully not targets for pedophiles at pre-school and school when their parents aren't there to ensure their safety

In the clip of her recognizing herself- you were talking about her imitation is great and a strong precursor to language- while that is true it is also sometimes a warning sign for autism in the form of echolalia- if the language is not developed further. In Frankie’s case though, she wasn’t just imitating in the moment but had thought back to a previous time her mom had been holding her in front of a mirror and said that, and applied the memory correctly in the present. I love that Franki’s language skills were also showcased in that clip- mom said “and mum trying to sleep”, and Franki, instead of just imitating and copying the words, she showed she understood them and continued the conversation by saying “is mum asleep?” Just thought that was a cool clip showcasing several things!

Choices are great, BUT you need to be ready to accept the, “No!” response. Also, too many parent make requests sound like a choice: “Do you want to go to bed?”

If you speak properly to your babies from the beginning , ie no baby talk, they will learn to speak comprehensively at a very young age. Did it with my son.

You agreed with everyone who has seen Frankie & Stevie and said that they are intelligent, kind, humorous, able to figure out psychology of interactions, precocious, but without 'formal scores and conclusions', we can't tell. So, this professionally-employed therapist chose to withold their formal opinion because they've decided that a few literal short Tiktoks aren't enough to make an informed conclusion - which is objectively true - and you decided to interpret that as them saying, "I need tests to tell me what to think" and decided to type out a paragraph telling them they've lost touch with reality?
