Hi… Love your room and all your teaching ideas! For your “Jobs” I think you could copy a letter “S” from the word “Class” to use for the word “Jobs” :) Hope you have a great year!

ALSO, omg, where did she get the morning work from? Is it from your curriculum? LOL, sorry for all my questions.. ALSO, what do you do when you have "bad" behavior? How do you combat that?

From a common core workbook! For the behaviors: give them choices, picking my battles, being firm on my consequences if they choose not to listen or make a choice that is responsible. The main thing is the relationship with them. Making an effort to let them know that I am here to support them, I am holding them accountable bc I care about them. Remembering the things they tell me and bringing it up, & reallllyyy making a big deal when they do something positive or something that is considered "good" behavior!

An in home daycare! I trust her and they have been taking care of my oldest for almost 2 years! That really helps me feel calm and I get updates throughout the day!
