It must feel very satisfying to feel validated - and yeah, thats crazy that they said that that was an engineering decision, when it clearly affects the user so deeply😂Good for you, you’re clearly a very talented designer for thinking that one through in that way (im more junior and i wouldve been like - oh absolutely, autosave sounds great! Absolutely! The conversation with the dev was so out of left field. Honestly, it takes some time to learn how to think through all sides of a decision like this. But remember user first as often as you can!

Currently enrolled in the Google Certificate UX certification course while enrolled in college for psychology and learning front end developer languages. I've been in both IT and HR, previously working with Google. I have no previous UX experience, however, my goal is to utilize this course and develop my own portfolio of personal and non personal projects. My questions is: Could you see a degree in psychology aligning with becoming a UX designer?

I’m a UX designer in FinTech and I totally getting the jitters of having to present work that you don’t 100% agree with. So much of my job is having to find the happy medium between the demands from my stakeholders and the actual best practices for the experience. It’s tough out here 😅
