From what I can tell the free time off in residency seems more relaxed than in med school without feeling the pressure to always study on your days off!! Looking forward to it haha

I definitely agree!! The free time is truly your own. Med school you are always studying even after getting home from rotations and on off days!

Haha thanks for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it :) yeah I think vlogging is fun and seems to be a great way to connect with your audience more. It definitely took a lot more time though and obviously (like you as well) I’m a bit more nervous to film in the hospital for a plethora of reasons - but you can’t argue with the fact that people enjoy watching this kind of content and it drives views. That being said I think educational / lecture stuff will definitely still be my bread and butter - but I’ll definitely keep experimenting with different formats too!

For the EMR vids that got taken down, what was the rationale? I wonder whether if you used fake/sandbox patients (your system should have them, typically have "test" in the name) + blurring would be enough.

Yeah, I did blur the patients but it wasn't in the sandbox testing environment which was one problem. The other issue is that apparently Epic doesn't like their software to be shown online . . . but I'm not sure about if that's actually a thing. Will have to keep trying to clarify with my IT / privacy folks I think!
