Yes, please make treatments videos. It will be so helpful as I start my level 2 fieldwork at a SNF. Thank you, Cistal! Also, thank you for sharing your experiences, I really appreciate it!
Hi Cristal!! Can you do a video on the job application + interview process when you were looking for jobs? How competitive is it and could you go over the difference between working through an agency vs other full-time positions? What are the pros and cons of each? Thank you so much! I love your videos and honesty and I'm really glad to hear you're doing better now. Much love
Congratulations on achieving your goals!!!! I'm 4 months into OT school after watching your videos for a year. By the way your videos taught me a lot so I can answer questions in class :)
Wow! I cannot tell you how much this resonated with me from COVID, graduating OT school, doubts and moving to a new state which was all very isolating. Thank you so much for sharing. Remember to give yourself grace and take care of yourself. ❤
That was really cool Cristal!! Glad you’re back and making content again! You’re definitely inspiring me to come back as well after I’m done my boards! 😊
I would love to see treatment ideas. I'm a new graduate and recently licensed and I'm experiencing some of the same feelings that you had to the point I haven't even applied to any jobs yet 😔. By the way, I'm a COTA/L! Love your videos.
Very interested in more content related to anything and everything OT! considering going into the field and would love more insight. thanks for sharing!
What are some activities or exercises that have become your most valuable tools when creating an OT program for a patient? Any tips or tricks that you've discovered work really well in a real life environment?
Hi Cristal. Thank you for the video. I especially liked the patient video. I'm starting OTA school this Fall. Maybe you could make a video geared toward that even though you are an OT?
Dear Crista, A few years ago, OT caught my attention. As a parent of an autistic child, I am aware of my son's daily struggles. I decided to return to school, and I recently received my Associated degree. I'll start working on my bachelor's degree in January. What suggestions or pointers can you provide someone like myself. Who wants to begin OT school. Do you have any suggestions for books to start reading/studying? I appreciate your time. Vee
Is it possible to get a job as a COTA without any SNF experience. I did all my fieldwork in pediatric, mental health and orthopedic outpatient/hand management. I begged to do fieldwork in a SNF but it was not offered. How should I go about trying to do this?
