If you have vines or limbs soaking in water for over night, then shaping before drying. It is an easier way to work with that type of material. I use to shape grapevine easily with that method, just sharing. :) Love that heart very adorable!

Just a tip for anyone making the accordion heart project, you can spray the paper with hairspray after using pastels to keep the colors from smudging! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

You never cease to amaze me, Allison! That heart wreath, oh my!!!! GORGEOUS and so feminine and it just makes me happy. I'm going to make one with faux dark brown branches that I already had. So motivated! Heyyyyy.....a great idea for you....making a chunky blanket?? I've been watching videos on it and it just seems like a great relaxing TV watching project! This week started off good. I finally got approved for a credit card so I can start working on my credit so I can get a new car. My goal is to get a new one by May or June. Probably June at this point. I'm getting over a nasty sinus infection. I'm feeling better today. But I've been out from work since Tuesday night ( I work afternoons). Glad to spend the day watching your videos.

Hi Allison! I live in Florida too and I agree to is hard to grow flowers cause of strong sun....but I have had really good luck with a flower called " crown of thorns"...they are actually a flowering cactus plant so they don't require a lot of water and do well in the strong sun...Blessings to you and your husband! You have inspired me to decorate a little for Valentine's Day - it is my birthday and a special one, so I have a good excuse. Your cards look lovely. Did you know you can give them a spritz with hairspray to seal the colour so that it does not transfer onto anything around it? I would experiment on a scrap piece first, just to be safe.

Dear Alison. The heart wreath is beautiful. If it is still bendy..add much more clear ties to the top of the heart to pull each of the inner sides of the top together and then add more in the middle to pull the widest outside part together. Then it will harden/firm up with the right shape/size so you can used it again next year (without the tie supports) You could add something hanging in the middle eg a paper or cloth heart to help cover the clear thread for this year. It would have been best to make the wreath frame ahead and lie it flat for the wood to harden/dry into the form. But you can still get it to work hanging, if it is still a little bendy. Can't wait to see the manatees.
