Nothing like low-level invasions. Especially at the start of the game where not everyone knows where everything is. It just gets you some nice, straight-forward, non-gimmicky matches.
I remember being in a fight club on DS3 a few years ago and I had killed three players in a row, I had so much euphoric adrenaline pumping through me that I didn’t even realize what I had done until I stopped for a moment and self reflected. I lost all confidence in myself as I was broken away from the moment and ended up dying in the next round from overthinking things. That was a big learning moment for me.
I just started the game yesterday having never played any souls before. I was so excited to get invaded with my little starter set and nothing what so ever upgraded 🤣 Had a good time as a newb, even got a few hits in. Cheers to my many hours ahead as I progress!
@@politedemons It's got a great build lol, they even made them kind of eclectic with both themed frostbite stuff and the blood spell if you get too close.
I wish I had more time so I could play more PvP. I'm just mainlining the solo PvE content first playthrough. I hope PvP stays healthy for a long time after release so I can really get into it this time around! Great video as always, Oro!
I never knew that was what I've been doing all these years until you put it into words. I've been telling my friends how much time they waste watching sports, and I'm basically the same lol
That blood slash in insane, currently using it on my playthrough, it lets me tackle bosses I probably shouldn’t be fighting yet, and yeah as y’all can see it s nuts in pvp
@@Guacamolex I hope people use areas with different elevations for fight clubs too and not just classic rings, I’d love to take advantage of terrain in a duel.
I think I actually invaded a polygon reviewer, they all have the same _Polygon in their psn names. They didn’t put up a very good fight. But to be fair a lot of the people I invaded didn’t.
At minute 7:46 you see him be afflicted by "Blood loss" but take no damage at all. Can someone tell me if there's a hidden mechanic in play, i'm just dumb and overlooking something or if it's a bug?
hey, for future reference, can you use the dead maiden here for the bloody finger quest? i used the one in the area where you start the game. just curious edit: you guys should try the parry dagger, it’s actually pretty good now, seems to have super, super early parry frames, so you can react with it pretty good. i wonder what the parry frames for other daggers or curved swords are like if you add parry to them 🤔 (and yes, the curved sword parry exists still, you just have to put it on the sword. thrusting swords too actually, now that i recall)
Oro that red symbol with the down arrow means ur health is nerfed from hugging that woman you have to take the blessing she gave u then rest at a grace to get red of it.
Back in the day the blue guy would fight through the red and if he killed the blue then he got to fight the host. Like an honor system. Also no healing.
@@stupidanon5941 Do you have more information on how many dcs until you get banned? And what kind of ban it is? Because in ds2 if you dc 20 times you get softbanned, but use a bone of order and you not banned anymore. That item also respawns with time.
@@rafaelbrito9519 The terms of service weren't abundantly clear about that, but judging from the network test, you can have only like, 2-3 intentional DCs before you wind up on the softban server. There are instructions in the terms of service for appealing bans, which involve contacting From Software directly. If there is an item that undoes the softban, I haven't seen it yet.
Not really....Guard counters can fuck up the garbage players who constantly try spamming jump attacks....You can also parry those IF you know how to parry..
I’ve been taking it really slow. Haven’t tried invading yet, in fact idk even how to do it. Pvp is my favorite part of these games. Been playing blind and loving it
@@PTHYTQV stuff will get nerfed as updates come out. Spamming will slow down. Maybe it takes more hits when you’re lower level? Pvp doesn’t seem too bad in this
Not a fan of PVP so far, I can't get invaded bc I play solo and invading is almost out of the picture since nearly every one ends up in a 3v1 or a squad of gankers, hope we get an arena or a new irythill to fight club in
@@ChromaEquinox I had the same experience until I got passed Stormveil Castle. Now I'm getting summoned finally. I think since the game is so new, there aren't many folks with the materials to invade. And if they do have the means, you may not be in the correct level bracket to be summoned to help the host. I'm level 40 now for reference.
@@Nomgoose Ah okay. I've purposefully been spending my runes on other stuff because I tend to always be overleveled on my first playthroughs of these games. Currently lv28 and explored most (I think) of all the places you can go pre-stormveil castle
