What landscapes! Absolutely stunning views and this is only part one. You really should keep the Dodo.. err.. Fluffy... ok trouser cough.... no Anika. This looks like an epic experience series, somewhat different to a race but still great to watch. Thanks for sharing.
The JCB's working is not a landslide however landslides can happen anytime in these mountains. It is the construction work going on there on the Padum-Leh road. They blast the mountain & then clear the debris. i think you took the lamayuru-sirsir la pass- singhe la pass - towards Padum in zanskar valley. The altitude really hits hope you guys had a good time in Ladakh.
Already loving this new journey. The donuts are like American. Not the boondocks of India. Ha ha. Stunning scenery says big adventure! Can’t wait for more!
You are a absolute champion mate ! And your name will be forever in the record books. Nice to see you enjoying a safer lifestyle You have earned it .Cheers from Melbourne Australia. 🏍🍻🦘🇦🇺👍

I have ridden in Ladakh and other parts of Himalayas multiple times. I'd suggest riders not use motocross goggles and instead wear a helmet with a full visor. THat way it'll prevent cold air from hitting your face and rain/snow from making the insides of your helmet wet. Weather in these regions can change in an instant.
I actually personally totally disagree. We did some incredible off road terrain and the airflow with goggles was ideal. I would wear the same helmet if I returned. I guess it's personal choice
@@TheGirlOnABike I mean as long as the weather was good. This is specific to higher regions of the Himalayas or any mountain range. Why would one risk exposing their face to the elements and risk taking on the elements head on. How do you deal in rainy or snowy conditions in really cold places? Curious to know.
Love it, very jealous and can’t wait for our India trip next year. Genuine question, why the pronunciation change of the Himalaya’s? We don’t call Germany Deutschland , or Glasgow “Glasgee” (with accent😉). Just curious why the last 12 months has seen a shift in pronunciation
Welcome to India next year try to avoid Himalyan bike tour between the month of December to March, because of winter season till March - April there would be 20ft snow at the same place Indian Govt and Army won't allow tourists
It's a good question. My part two video explains a little more but it's basically the correct way to say it in India So royal Enfield asked I pronounce it correctly
I love the interactions you have with fluffy, I would like to know about Fluffy and how you met? Fluffy is cute and I have the impression that Fluffy is the videographer, is that correct? fluffy fluffy fluffy fluffy 😁
Hi Vanessa, wow it’s wonderful to see a lady riding around India. I’ve been following to other groups and they’re all men but it’s wonderful to see a lady doing what you are doing absolutely so happy to see. Keep up the good work Cliff from Logan City Queensland, Australia
Aw yey thanks so much, that is so nice to hear, I am glad you are enjoying the videos, there is nothing us women cant do we just need to keep showing up 💪
Biking in India is becoming a thing. As an Indian I am loving it. Just be careful in certain areas though like the unfortunate Jharkhand(state in India) incident of the Spanish couple. Jharkhand too is a beautiful place, but there is maoist seperatist movement so staying outdoors after 8pm is risky. In case you guys want to visit there. Other than that welcome to India♥️
Cool guy, this Alex. Vanessa, don't you dare offend your husband with or without reason. I can tell by his eyes that he doesn't deserve it. In general, I really like your family, Mr. and Mrs. Ruck.
Thank you dear for sharing! I have booked a trip for Himalaya next year and its very helpful to see your video and What kind of clothes you have. Were you cold during the trip? Looking forward to next video ❤️
Oh wow that is super exciting! I filmed a video whilst on the road covering what kit to wear, so stay tuned it will be out shortly! And thanks so much for watching, and for your support!
Fluffy has the snacks. Fluffy will make a dust cloud and run for South America with the treasure! 🤔😫 You lot are the perfect team for that trip! 🥳🤗 And I love how hard the rock you add as music has become! Finally a music that fits! 🤘💪🤗²
Wooo yey, super glad to hear you are looking forward to it, part 2 & 3 are out now with still just a few more to come so stay tuned 😎 thanks for your excitement and support!!
Hello Vanessa, nice video. I wish you a good, accident-free journey. I would like the Mosko jacket in black/orange, but I can't find it in the Mosko-EU store. Is this an old model or a new product? Many greetings, Jörg
Welcome and have a safe ride. Be careful as my country has a problem with something that you would probably know. Be careful be safe and have a safe ride.
Now that's what I call biceps. Beginning of the video. Dear Vanessa, what weight of the bar do you use for push-ups from the "lying from the chest" position?
@@TheGirlOnABike By the way. Your husband has huge arms and well-developed hand muscles. Forearms, biceps, and triceps are poorly developed. This means Alex prefers the horizontal bar to the barbell.
Hmm.. I'm sure the electric jacket is great.. 0C isn't all that cold though.. just the threshold where water freezes at see level pressure.. Try -30C sometime.. but with warmer clothing, & you should probably be using studded tyres..😉
Yeah I agree. We knew we would have to ride in temperatures between freezing and 30+ degrees. So in order to have the most efficient use of volume of clothes we decided that layering with the heated jacket was more space efficient. And it worked perfectly better than having loads of thick coats.
India is a very huge and diverse country in the world 🌏 28 state + 8 union territory = India (36) 🇮🇳 And many more indian island like Andaman Nikobar, Lakhyadeep etc..🙏🙏
Come To Home Rajasthan , It Is A Home Of Warriors and Kings with Stunning Sky Touching Forts and Swordsmens with Racing On Horses. Come Here You Will Forget Himalayas ❤
Your other review on the Himalayan?, please I'm interested in buying one in India , I've just travelled the entire country of Vietnam north to south on a small Honda XR 150...love to know your thoughts on your old bike and the new one and maybe prices ...I have a one year India visa in hand and ready
Hey! Unless you want ice roads, glaciers, and extreme snowfall, I suggest the months from July - September, most the roads and passes are open and clear, and the weather is much more pleasant for riding 🙂
nice video and wish you safe and happy travels :) But 14:53, civilized, really?? thats the best way you would describe your native food/cuisine or a food that is foreign to the locale you are traveling to, perhaps its quite telling of you
This is part of my job and I work extremely hard to fund these trips, I chose to create and run my own business with a lot of hardwork, commitment and determination, I work day in and day out, and I am always working even when I am on the road, like on this trip, I am filming, editing, etc
I am just under 5'7 and I found it mega comfortable and easy to ride, it has an adjustable seat height also, I will be posting a full review video soon and that will answer all your questions 🙂
The great publicity for this Himalayan continues, probably sales are not going well and I would understand that, a not very successful bike, an obscene tank
