Extended highlights from day three of the 2023 Mosconi Cup at Alexandra Palace, London. - Shaw/Alcaide vs Woodward/Wolford - Jayson Shaw vs Skyler Woodward - Shaw/FSR vs Wodoward/Gorst #9ball #pool #nineball #matchroompool #mosconicup
jason shaw is definitely mister mosconi cup - never before has anyone been so present and I don't think there will be anyone who represents this tournament like him again
@@RichardsWorldI think it's more to do with the slate or the cloth. It looks fine in the middle part of the table and the left side seems like it's fine too, but the right side is just slanted for some reason. It's more severe on the upper right part of the table
Wow I love how level that table is. The quality and level of that table showed twice now. Yesterday when a slow rolling three ball rolled off its line by over a diamond, and then today when Woodwards lag rolled so far to the left (his left) that it scratched. Nothing but the highest quality equipment when it comes to the Mosconi cup I see. 😂😂😂
@@triaxe-mmb I never said who it was or wasn't affecting. I simply pointed out the fact that the table is clearly an unlevel pile of garbage. That is undeniable. I simply used the Woodward lag as a clear and obvious example of how bad the table is.
Team Europe is just damn unbeatable too damn good!. Congrats to Team USA for getting a second point and my god did Woodward and Gorst tear the house down with that amazing doubles performance to get 5 wins
@@dougoverhoff7568 if I was a professional player I dont know if I’d even want to play in something that immature. It’s mind boggling how a professional pool tournament is reminiscent of a WCW wrestling event with guys walking around acting like Shaw and fans screaming like it’s an outdoor soccer stadium. I guess it’s just weird and out of place in my eyes. I’m sure the moneys good so they’ll show though.
Nice. Its extremely exciting to watch this games. You can feel the emotions. Hopefully one day other continents especially asian countries (philippines😊) can join this amazing tournament. Congrats to europe in advance🎉
I want the USA to win some more games because I’m enjoying watching the cup, but Jason Shaw and Europe are just on fire with their breaks and few errors.
Jayson shaw is an interactive and interesting character with a beautiful personality.......anyone mocking or taunting him might have something personal with him, but he doesnt hurt the spirit of the game. He's a gem of a person.
@@dfuseidazza6129 oh they’ve definitely missed a bunch of shots they shouldn’t have. No excuse for it. But EU has caught some rolls and USA hasn’t unless you want to count the golden breaks. Watch every time US has scratched off of the break and you’ll see it gets kicked in. Then watch FSR hit the points on the side pocket. Seems to happen a lot in pool when the team that doesn’t need it gets the lucky rolls. I don’t think anyone is arguing that US should be winning right now. That lag between Woodward and Shaw is glaringly awful for the table though.
American here. I think it's complete horseshit that Sky pocketed the ball on the lag and the ref called a fuckin do over. That should've been Shaw's break. Another thing that makes ZERO sense to me is that they're on a shot clock, therefore when a player from either team needs to use the bridge, the referee shouldn't be assisting them by handing them the bridge. What if it were a hill hill match and the clock is running with no extension and the referee does that?
Also American here. I also agree with everything you just said. Strange choice of ref IMO. Refs shouldn't help players with fetching cues. And if you pocket a ball while lagging... ummm... it's the loss of the f*ing lag. Plain and simple. So weird to see that. Confused.
@@jaynosowsky9708yet they keep bringing him back. Team Europe devised from players who live in America and many different countries. Usa team comes from one place now matchroom put European player on team. Mosconi is ruined. Makes no sense. Players come from anywhere
It's sad that anybody could even pretend to know anything about Shane and say that... Pool means far, far too much to him to ever even consider doing something like that. That's why he has a hard time with all the pressure bcuz how much it means to him.
I don't know what do you mean by "they killed the event". Europe is shooting super good, you can't blame them for being good. Watching high quality pool is ALWAYS worth it, even when your team is losing.
@@xSalamz As an American I agree, this has been really tough to watch, SVB was horrid day 1. I like how the crowd is allowed to get involved and not have to keep it to a minimum when cheering and jeering, it makes the game better for spectators imo. This can game can grow professionally & amateurly and is in a better place since the early/mid 90s, at least here in the states we have seen a big uptick in league play since the epidemic in 2020.
I love how Europe are that dominate mathroom have to shorten a day's play just to make it goto the final day. I hope the audience today got a partial refund for not seeing a full day's play.
As a European supporter myself I would be so caught up in the atmosphere if I were there I wouldn't ask for one either, but matchroom should still do it as they have manipulated the play just to send it to the 4th day.
The difficulty to figure out how to watch this in the USA is mind boggling. You would think it would be the easiest thing ever. And most important. Day 4 and still dont know how and dont want to now!!
@@toddrobertson1398 I think his only excuse is that team USA lacks in communication. They do not talk to each other like Europeans do. Different atmosphere.
i think this year's difference mostly comes from the chemistry itself. from where i see, europe team enjoys playing with each other but i cannot say the same for usa team. skyler, fedor and wolford give good vibes while playing but tyler and svb seem like they don't want to be here and they don't believe the team this time. svb is undoubtly one of most best players in the world, but he needs some rest. he lost his form since the championship of 8-ball.
Team Europe has some extroverts in Shaw and Filler, their mood/energy is contagious. Without guys like that Ouschan would probably go right into his shell. Team USA are all introverts.
@@dhirajpallin2572 yep you are right, last year and this year we only see some sparks from skyler, which makes him my favorite us player. the other ones look very unconsious...
As avid pool players we all love SVB but just not sure exactly what happens to him at the Mosconi Cup. As others have pointed out with glaring accuracy he simply chokes at this venue, something he rarely does in other tournaments. Still love SVB but honestly Jeremy Jones needs to reconsider him for future Mosconi Cups.
The woman yelling USA USA USA is an example of why Europeans think that we’re loud. It’s ok to yell it, but not while the player is addressing his shot🙄
