This is so similar to Sports Betting too! Literally have the same Risk Management in place and just aim to be 60% correct in a season/ year. Trading is just so much more money I find interims of profitability, and success rates however.

Very few people win 60% of sports betting consistently when they bet too often. I make only around 20 NFL and college football bets per year when I used to do more I would lose my edge and money.

This is a pretty good analogy! And I’d say you could take it a step further and say that each strategy is like a different game at the casino. Each table has a different risk tolerance, whether it’s roulette or blackjack or craps. One could be $1k, $2k or $4k. Personally I have 2 strategies that I use. One is more probable to be profitable (but less likely to occur) than the other and my risk tolerance is high so I use 3% on that one and 1% on the other. It’s a different game so my edge is better.

This is exactly what I’ve created over the past week on holiday, I knew I was going wrong with risk management even as my method had an edge. Slow growth would be matched with a small decline. Those with rapid growth accounts can lose it too.

I remember you saying something in another video about a gap up strategy you have used , waiting for a pull back or something, but a bit more than just advice on emotions or risk management.
