We visit some historic sites around town including Captain Cooks landing site, Grassy Hill the highest point in Cooktown and the botanical gardens which are over 150 years old.
We day trip out to the Old Laura Homestead a long the Battle Camp Road a beautiful drive of Australian bush lands and some of most picturesque scenery on the cape.
