In this series, Day Trips From Tokyo I will be showing you the many fun yet inexpensive Tokyo day trips you can have that are only an hour or so away from Tokyo.
This time I took a day trip and travelled to Ibaraki Prefecture in the Kanto region of Japan.

Happy Sunday! On my days off I love to get away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and go explore a new place!! (preferably somewhere with nature :D) Sooo... I challenge you guys to go explore a new area near you or just look at the places you normally go to with a different perspective and I’m sure you will re-discover lots of neat things!! Who knows, maybe you’ll notice some small things you usually miss when you pass the places… :)

こんいちわ!! I just wanted to take a moment and say how much I love your videos. Technically(videography, editing, etc.) they are superb..but also...you..lol. You seem to be a lovely and genuine person. That's really nice, especially in this day and age. I also like how we seem to see the 'real you'..like when you get distracted..lol. I love that and how you make it feel like we're just along with you on your trips..like friends.anyway..rambling here...my wife and I are coming to Japan in November. Your videos are not only helpful with ideas and places...but inspiring in a way. I just found the one where you went to Fukushima...how did i miss it before? As you said in your video..I too was lost for words when the school principle was speaking. We will make an effort to travel there and support their communities. The first time I paraglided was when I was ten years old. I was not good with height and it was in the Swiss Alps with lakes and waterfalls. It was so pretty. It looked like you had a fun time.

I'll go to Kairakuen, it's the only one of the 5 most important gardens in Japan I haven't been to yet, and what better time to visit, than now for ume blossom. Great to see your channel is doing so well. Keep it up!!! ^^ Thomas
