DAY6- "Letting Go" MV Reaction! 

u should watch their letting go practice bc they LITERALLY sounds like in the mv but even better bc u can clearly hear the instrumentals

day6 deceptively looks like they don't have a lot of extra stuff to react to cause they're not on a lot of variety shows- but if you really like them and run out of music videos/lives/funny compilations/interviews to react to later on, it's really fun to watch them sing snippets that are requested on radio shows/just sing on the spot as well as their immense range of covers (cause they were often weekly guests on radio shows so we were blessed with covers every week for a while). Their skill in harmonisation shines with their impromptu singing and you get to hear them sing in styles that they might not use as often in their discography (but can still execute really well! e.g. I never knew how much of a vocal beast Wonpil is until I saw/heard him go off singing some FT Island or Melomance's hit song Gift or Park Hyoshin's iconic Beautiful Tomorrow... also Young K flexes HARD with some of the covers, he's legit just adlibbing everywhere... don't get me started on Jae and Sungjin when they get hyped) For the covers, I'm sure people will start recommending them at some point so it will be easy to find. For the snippets and on-the-spot requests, I don't see people reacting to or recommending as much, but when the time comes just mention it in a video and I'll come (or someone will) with the links lmao

AGH IM LOVING YOUR DAY6 REACTIONS!!! Glad you are liking them! Love it that you're calling Sungjin BOB!! Anyway, this video is about their past member, Junhyeok. They are talking about letting him go from the group and as much as they don't like it, letting him go is the best option so he can smile once again and be happy someday. As you can see in the MV that the keyboards are all empty showing the absence of that member in the group. But the only one ever playing the keyboard is Wonpil who now is in charge of the keyboard and synth of the group.

This is the best feeling of watching reactiom videos, especially from you. Although I know I love Day6 songs that much, I get to appreciate it more. Like their vocals, them playing instruments, their musicality in totality. I've always listened to Letting Go but because of your comments and reactions, some things that need to give more attention is being emphasized. Thank you. ♡♡

This song has a special place in my heart because this is the very first song that I listened from them way back in 2016 which also made me stan. I'm glad that a lot have been recognizing their music and talent! Love the way you talk about everything: from the mv, lyrics, and musicality. Looking forward to more Day6 reactions from you! they have a rebooted version of this and that kinda reminds me of Queen (lol). they also sang the original and rebooted version in one of their concerts, hope you can check it out!

If it’s harmonies. no doubt you have to listen to I’ll try. It’s the b-side of Everyday6 december song “I like you” Everyday6 basically is their 2017 project where they release 2 songs every month. Yes starting from these to this day. Youngk wrote the lyrics of the songs. except for some b-sides where the other members wrote them. But for sure 97% of their songs are youngk’s

A lot of people talk about this being about the past member, but I really don't recall them saying anything publicly about that; like this just became the universal fan interpretation. (I may be wrong though.) Anyway, there's an interview with one of the producers they usually work with (collapsedone. I recall he also works on Twice songs) that talks specifically about this song and the EP that it's on. And it should give you a pretty good insight on their songwriting process. If I'm not mistaken. They compose all their songs, some maybe they compose with producers that they've worked with since their debut. But mostly it's them, and the producers are helping them in arranging/mixing the song (again, if I'm not mistaken). So they compose their own songs, then make a demo with the producer and put it on the list.
