So. The girl actually broke up with the guy. The video is from her perspective of what the relationship was like. This is a sequel to Congratulations (which is from the guy's perspective of the breakup) Funny you mentioned iKon and Got7 cuz once upon a time as trainees, Day6, Got7, iKon and Winner once had a showdown (YG vs JYP thing). Funny cuz they're self-producing groups that can put me in my feels. Sad bois, smh. Also where's your plant?

The guy isn't actually honest about his interpretation Of the whole thing.Maybe the feeling of you were beautiful is more of anger and like you were when you were mine but now you are not. “The acting in this is so well done” - fun fact: the guy in the relationship scenes played one of the main characters in the multiple award winning movie Parasite. This MV was all way before that happened in his life, but it’s cool to see how he used to play a role in some Day6 MV’s!

Ahhh this song!! I'm late but this is one of my fave Day6 songs. I think the feeling u were saying was maybe nostalgic?? At least that's how I feel when I listen to this sometimes and it makes me sad depending on my mood. random fact about this song: in indonesia when people were at an kind of karaoke event for kpop songs, the dj played this song and the crowd started belting the lyrics while looking at a photo of their ex on their phone (but most of them just pulled up photos of jkt48, an indonesian-japanese idol group, members instead bc they didn't have an ex apparently lmaoooooo) there's a video of it on twt, i'll probably send it on discord sldkfjdlsfkj

when you said how you love when music makes me feel things you hadnt felt in a very long time, it's similar but so different from me because day6 makes me feel things i've never felt or experienced before. i've never been in love or in a relationship or broken up, but i've cried so many times because they make me FEEL so much. they make me genuinely imagine myself in that position and feel what theyre talking about. and they make me want to experience it all however painful it may be. they're truly such a special group and i hope you listen to more songs whether or not it's on video, because honestly no one should live a life without day6 music imo

Yay! I love your reactions to Day6, you always give great insight into their videos and music! I really enjoy it, despite how many times I have listened to the song lol :) So, this song is a continuation of "Congratulations," which was their debut song. It will give you background into the relationship of the couple portrayed in this MV. I don't want to spoil it for you because the story in the MV unfolds really nicely. "You Were Beautiful," is arguably Day6's most popular song in Korea aka "the break up song," lol. But I think "Zombie," is climbing the ranks which was their latest comeback song in May (it also has an english version and actually YWB and Congratulations also have a live studio english version too!). Looking forward to more of you Day6 reactions!! :)
