I watch from Antwerp in belgium. Love the video's and I am lerning a lot from them. When I have enough money I want to start a farm as well so its nice to learn stuff from you guys!!
100% agree with what you said about being able to rate guests on Airbnb. It's a system that would need to be updated to allow a feature like this to be introduced.
I use to operate A NewHolland 8080 back in the 80s, we thought back then that was as good & as big as they would get, same with tractors Ford 8100s & TW20 /25s, How I wish I had stayed in Farming, as always a great entertaining video, 85% today✌
Hi, enjoyed the video as per normal. How did you manage to get any sense out of airbnb?!!!! Anything with our pod's it's almost impossible to sort out!! Anyway, our spring barley is motoring on, as is the maize. Sadly the grass in front of the cattle just looks like a prairie in South Cheshire!!
Hi just started watching you guys really enjoying it, we’re waiting to start harvest here in Suffolk, spring barley is couple of weeks off but we are ready to go!! Thanks Brett
Can't make the show as doing the good uncle thing and attending my niece's end of year ballet show - just hoping the theatre air con is working. Really impressed with the combine hedge trimming - just think, come the autumn, on the narrow lanes, lift the header and cut both sides of the road at once
Never get bored of watching a combine working..Saw a similar claas combine working near sand-batch while driving my truck then another claas near Joe seels farm driving home in my car..
Another great video, I am a fan of rating customers, equally I think we should be able to rate job applicants to save each other time and effort , training / interviewing timewasters. We are now lucky enough to have a full team of reliable people but it has been a long journey !!
Weekly Score: Mon 20% Tues 30% Weds 40% Thurs 50% Friday 60% Sat & Sun 100% But then my job is in an office not on a farm anymore. Great Vids. Keep em coming. High Spot of my Day.
If you stopped an old Massey combine with a multiflow without reversing up, you would soon have a gut full of straw on the walkers. Not a nice place to be on a hot day!!! Been there, done that.
Feeling 90% today there's nothing like the sight of a decent combine chugging through a field and unloading on the go shots make brilliant photos loved today's video 👍
Did 8 weeks solid on a cts back in the day is oz first 2 weeks brilliant! Last 6 weeks bored! Magnet on a stick might help with spring from fridge! Aggregate company near us had loads of trouble with NH t7 off the road for 6 months! Went back to fendts!
Hi olly, watch all your videos from Larkhall Scotland love all your videos as from farming background my dad used to have a beef farm near Lanark, used to love harvest time especially the smell, love Chester as we have a cocker spaniel ruby, my favourite tractors you have is the John Deere’s that’s what we had 3650 , you should try and get one, I’m 85% today, what you and your team are doing is excellent every day well done guys
A great week of videos love harvest time, can't get over the size of the combine front,I started on 10ft cut, progessed to 14ft. As for the Airbnb I totally agree, why some people have to be so disrespectful I do not know.🤠🇦🇺
New sub watching from the Scottish Borders, going to be driving the combine for the first time this harvest on the winter barley 🙈😂 Great content btw and very informative👍
Another brilliant blog Olly - new Holland cab looks a bit of a nightmare!! Your combine is fantastic what a machine. Certainly a strong 95% still boiling hot in Kent🥵🚜👍
Please forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference between winter barley and spring barley? Is it purely down to when it was sown? Presumably winter has a chance to absorb more water and gets a bit of a head start? Another enjoyable vid.
Winter crops are sown in the autumn - sometimes straight after harvest. It's more a case the plants have done the initial sprouting before winter comes then they lie dormant during it, giving them the headstart when the warm weather starts again.
Today is 95%, did a lot of manure spreading. I had to drive through a little street where they were planning a wedding so felt a bit guilty with my stinky manure 🤣
100% today, into better quality w barley today, best yields I've ever had and weather to cut it in, no fan of the New Hollands either, everything in the cab looks an after thought
I recently used an Airbnb in Spain. I gave feedback to the owners, and they gave feedback to me. Both of the feedbacks are available to either prospective users of the flat, or to landlords of properties that I apply to use in the future. Don’t you have this feature?
Thought it was a wind up you cutting the hedge with the bed knife. Till I saw it coming into the front 🤣🤣. Think class would call that combine abuse. Lucky that finger section didn’t go through, would have made a rattle 😮.
First off all: Thank you fore giving us a peek in too your day :-) Do you have people who look in to fuel economy when you plan the work schedule ? with that amount off "macine hours" you have, and the high prices on fuel that must be a intresting puzzle 😀
