I can't even imagine coming up with the idea to make a dramatic cliffhanger between two lovers (a barbarian & a samurai) facing off behind a soundtrack of a Japanese cover of the Backstreet Boys while RZA narrates the inevitable showdown.
when it started I was like is that ...backstretch boys then I had to ask myself what genius thought of having a Japanese cover of I want it that way in a scene like this needless to say it was amazing

If i saw this clip before i watched the show, It would have made me watch all episodes right away. And the song alone sounds so good. I bet everyone here wants a full version.
MindFlayer 27 Lol fits well cuz i think the two characters in the show are fans of Naruto cuz Turbo had some Naruto figures in his room when they played street fighter
This is easily one of Wesley's best moments in the entire show. I will say, though, that at 1:52, I was hoping that there'd be awesome one-on-one fight between these two when I saw this shot.

It's a crime that this show got the axe. I just binged it again for like the billionth time a few days ago, and every time I watch it, I can't wrap my head around the fact that it flopped. But then again that probably has a lot to do with the advertising. All the trailers and promos I saw for Daybreak when it came out made it look really dumb and I didn't even end up watching it until after it had already been cancelled. I was so pissed when I got to episode 7, cause I looked online to see when season 2 would be out, only to find out that there wasn't gonna be a season 2. It made watching the last few episodes a very bittersweet experience
Honestly if this show had more moments like this it wouldn't have been canceled. It had such a really good premise but they did very little with it and just played it safe. Its a shame cause it looked like towards the final few episodes the writers and director started to hit their stride
can someone tell me the rap song playing when Wesley was talking to Eli about the whole plan with Josh. it played when he said he needed his " thinking cap on"
I felt that way too at first but after thinking about it and rewatching the series I feel like they made a good choice not showing the fight. The episode after this (Turbo's episode) I thought was more entertaining and fit the show better. Plus realistically they probably couldn't find a good way to shoot the mall fight scene and went a different direction as a result. I feel like what they did instead of showing it was pretty smart and in line with the show's humor.
@@PBstrikers I mean, if they did choose to direct it. They could've showed the fight, and kept that part a mystery. Like they didn't have to show us who shot Turbo in the middle of the fight. For example, once the fight was over with, they could've had the jocks run out of the mall, and then that's when everyone realizes that Turbo was shot.
