So they are complaining that there's only 70 deer left out of 400 because of poaching but 4 guys at the end are given permission to kill deer! It makes no sense to me at all... Why cull deer but complain your herd is almost gone?

So the farmer was moaning that hunters are killing his deers yet he gives permission for hunters to cull the deers WTF? That just doesn't make any sense!!!! More like the farmer wasn't getting a cut of the money from the deer killings.

That is great co-operation and communication....15 officers and helicopter involved to stop legal hunters?! ...since when it's allowed to shoot and hunt from sniper rifle with a silencer in park full of dog walking people...are they seriouse?!

They all are so are so good at their jobs and know exactly what to do

So what I got from this then, is if there's someone you don't like, anonymously phone the police saying you saw said person with a firearm, quick as a flash they'll be surrounded, have guns pointed at them, shouted abuse at, thrown to the ground, forcibly restrained, handcuffed, arrested, thrown in a van and kidnapped for approx. 24hrs in a cell, interrogated then released without charge, no apology and a flag on your name forever regarding possible firearm possession 🤔.

That arrest was smooth

What a waste of money regarding the deer hunters. If they are licensed then surely they should inform the police before going hunting. There is also a public safety issue licensing people to shoot in a public park. This seems a case of bad management all around. Hope they change their policies soon before someone gets hurt.

The difference between the poaching and the hunting is that the farmer who allows the HUNTING to cull the deer is heavily regulated and it’s to keep the population from exploding as well as making sure they’re free of disease. Poaching is different because they kill whatever comes into their path such as the dogs that have been killed and it’s not regulated. If the farmer ignored the poachers then the outcome could be the deer populations declining to a point where they are at risk of becoming extinct, if you pay hunters to keep an eye on population numbers and have it regulated then there’s no risk of killing too many, killing pregnant see, young deer, nursing deer or the wrong animals. It’s not about the farmer wanting money from the hunters it’s just that you can’t just go out and kill animals whenever you feel like, wherever you feel like, you have to be regulated and do it legally

In my state if you get caught Poaching it is a $1000 fine and 1 year in jail.AND if you get caught by the land owner you stand a good change of being shot. Our County just busted 4 people and charge them on 78 counts of paching. The way they were caught was from their bragging on Facebook.

Had a go at me for not telling them where i was! Ywt when i tried to tell them i got bitten by the attacker and the phone took away My face was so damaged my mother screamed when she seen me. I told the police he had said he would use me as a human shield from bullets or tazers she said no youd not be tazared but you're lucky you wernt mauled by a dog. They had a helicopter out didn't see me despite me trying to signal it. I atill have nightmares and have been diagnosed eith ptsd I thought and was told id not be coming from the location i thought id die. Why he didn't kill me i dont know! He went to prison but not for long

Caught red handed shooting the deer but no further action? Is that saying they can shoot all of them? You can still rob someone with an immitation gun, they are not going to challenge wether it is real or not. Such disappionting results.

Re the deers being culled , why are the police calling registered legally owned guns weapons ? A license check from the air and contact made with the licencee on his permission could of cleared that all up with out a waste of resources

high powered gun in Park is dangerous. Bullets can go thought deer and hit other users. sterilized and darts old or sick deers, not shoot them with firearms. what those hunters fo with the carcass, sell in on market.
