hi Nelca, I want to ask that is it possible to calculate DF (daylight factor) and DGP (daylight Glare Probability) values in Dialux Evo Program. I am looking forward your answer. Thank you.
Hello Nelca I am from science background and beginner to DiALux. Are you taking some readymade file and uploading to DIALux for lighting study of the building? May I know which software is used to create the map of the building where lighting study is required to perform. I hope to receive a reply from experts on this. Thanks
@@NelcaRoco can you please send me the sample file too? I am just starting out and i might make use of some preexisting model. my email kushagrasonkar@gmail.com
Hi nelca. My dialux evo 7 keeps on calculating the default light scene 1, which is the whole house. How to discard that? Please help. I keep choosing spefic light scenes but always end up calculating the whole. Thanks!!
Hello Ms. Nelca, another great video. If you dont mind can you tell me how did you add those additional objects like TVs, Kitchen tables, stoves, and other objects that are not included in dialux? Is there any external source you can give? And how about the material of those additional objects, are they user-defined? Thank you!
+Nelca Roco, Lighting Design big thanks i checked on that! How about adding a window not on a wall, but on a rectangular room element that stands just like a wall...?
Hi Nelca. I admire your proficiency in Dialux. Regarding Daylighting, BS 8206-2 is about ‘Average Daylight Factor’ which is defined as the ratio of illuminance at a point on a given plane due to light received from a sky of known or assumed luminance distribution, to illuminance on a horizontal plane due to an unobstructed hemisphere of this sky. This percentage value requirement varies according to the room function (1% in bedroom, 1.5% in living rooms and 2% in kitchen). I haven’t done any daylighting calculation using Dialux so I don’t know how to relate the ‘lux’ level output (which you have done in the calculation) to this average daylight factor. Is there an equivalent value in Dialux for that in %? Please advise.
Dear Leo, Thank you for your message and input information. I am not sure where to relate the percentage requirement you mentioned. All I know is the lux level for Kitchen must be at least 500 lux especially on the cooking and preparation table, while for living room will depend on the light scene and activity in that area, but usually 300 lux is enough. For bedroom, 100 - 200 lux is fine but must have at least reading light. Don't worry, I will read the BS and BREEAM reqt and hopefully create an update video regarding this. regards, Nelca-
Thank you for the video, is it possible to create 2 lighting zones like in a classroom (near window area and far window area) with the possibility of lighting one area during the day and both at night. and see the savings we would make thanks to the contribution of natural lighting and the extinction of an area
Thanks Nelca, you are really help me to use dialux evo. May I have a question to you about how to change the background to daytime and blue sky please? Thanks advanced.
Hai ma'am. Good tutorial. You have done in evo 6. I tried daylighting design in Dialux evo 7.1 and 8 with the same catalog, it is giving an error during the calculation. And give the link for other day lighitng catalogs.
Hi Nelca, Could you please show me how to "zoom in" and "zoom out" .3ds objects in dialux evo? I don't know why I can not zoom in or zoom out the object by middle mouse Thank you very much

dear i love your work its commendable , i want to know is it possible to make same building in Dilaux evo by creating 3D , if yes kindly tell how or share some videos
hi nelca , thanks for ur reply and i wish you make a video that describes how can you make each effect in a photo step by step in photoshop to make it compelete scene of day to night , u just explained how to add the real photometrics to the facade and it was so helpful for me , if you can go deeper in a more details video i would be so greatful ................................... thaaaaaaaaaanks alot .
Hi nelca, I thankyou for your efforts to make the tutorials. Can you please send me the auto cad file of house? My mail ID is sharathkumar.samala@gmail.com
