Lux holds himself back during battles because he wants to structure rounds to his opponents and prove he can do what they do today. BUT when he’s in cyphers he is free to do and say what he wants. He literally handicaps himself during battles lol It’s the weirdest thing ever
Daylyt is the perfect battle rap ambassador. I feel the same way about Loaded. If he spazzed like he did on this freestyle in ever battle, he would be undeafeated.
@@MindlessMenace I feel like Daylyt shit went over a lot of people's heads. Lux's is just more digestible. "This shall/shell be back you niggas turtle" -Lux lol super understandable but I love it to
People need to realize that lyrical, back to back punch heavy flow that Nitty and others are so respected for was fathered by Grey Hoodie Lux. So if you really believe Lux can’t punch anybody’s head off if he gets back into those pockets, you don’t know battle rap. Do you know how dope you gotta be to make Daylyt cover his face and just say “Oh god…” mid rap?
I love these Daylyt react videos. He's so down to earth and accessible. Keep doing this Day- btw- this shit is BANGIN....and im 4 min in- hope you spit something to this
Bill, we really appreciate this. And just for that, send me your email and I’ll personally send you Daylyt’s review of the twork and Jaz battle. Emrsnsound@gmail.com
Rex lux n Shine repping 3 whole blueprints. Rex rapped like the blueprint of nothing but straight bars on deck with multis n mixtape bars n street talk crisp with no slip ups lux rapped like the blueprint for all pen games with scheming story tellin metaphors similes n punches in layered writing, shine rapped like the blueprint for the newer era of top notch performance in and out cadences and impeccable flow n crowd control Love to see lux vs shine and lux vs Rex on camera to redeem lux losses off camera. That face off would be wild
@@rico421 nope. I believe lux lost cuz on multiple occasions he said he lost when the footage wasn’t rolling as well as admitted losses to Rex during that era but only because he ran out of rhymes each time which would disqualify you in that era if the other person kept going despite who’s spittin the higher level content Lux said he lost so I can’t go against what the man himself said. I’m actually surprised you didn’t know Lux openly admits this and can find the title of the vids for you on RU-vid if you’d like
Lmao the point shaving accusation Daylyt has for lux is how I been feeling ever since lux ended his first round against clips with the grey hoodie lux format which is completely unstoppable. It’s like he’s playing with everyone acting like it’s against his religion to go grey hoodie mode again when he does it in cyphers and rarely flashes it in tiny parts of battles. And oddly he also doesn’t go on track that hard as cyphers. It be super dope if He was really saving it all for an opponent he was looking for worthy enough for it whom became Daylyt overtime n we see that all birthed in they battle
@@Mrbungleface0u818 he just didn’t ride the beat well. it sounded forced. I understand the way that he wrote it, and how he wanted to deliver it but it didn’t come off that way. Like as a ghostwriter that is a good verse. If daylyt said the verse was fire, everybody would say it was too. His facial expression mean nothing to me.
Facts about Lux. We love his battle style, but clearly he can do a lot of other stuff that he never does in battles. He can rap more direct and "modern" where he can be EFB with it without needing hieroglyphics scientic Black Panther Soul General bars.
I mean his Loaded Hollows display he was in rare form. When he pulled out the grey hoodie, he went crazy. He can easily do that in all of his battles but it is as if he refuses to.
@jreel I totally agree and I wish he rapped like that more. That 2 on 2 is a perfect example of him rapping rapping and not trying to be too lyrical miracle or preachy.
That's because he has been rapping for so long but battle rap he been gone and had to catch up I would like to see him battle more his last battle was good
Daylyt, thank you for your honest opinions! I felt likewise on some of the takes so far. K-Shine Submarine bar was mid/trash for the exact reason you said. Then immediately after legendary reaction causing the cypher to stop is highlarious, lol. But it was up from there and Shine started talkin crazy after that. Hopefully you agree Rex went had best, we gon see.
@daylyt how can i pay you to read my stories and rhymes? I really to hear you analyze things and talk. You had this cat scheme when you battled that muscle dude..i dont catch all your stuff..but when i seen how you did that i was amazed. respect
Lux on beat is crazy. Probably the best battle rapper on beat. Okay I spoke too soon....Milz was just grimy with it. "I'm not a rapper, I'm a hustla in disguise."
