Yea the weapons in days gone were criminally underrated in how good they felt, aiming was off but the sound design/feel was maybe the best I’ve ever heard.
I can hear the echo in the clip which helps demonstrate how freaking loud gunshots are. My friends that don't go to gun ranges are always shocked by that thanks to Hollywood misleading them.
@@Anonymous-jj9yu just a bunch of modes you get scored on surviving hordes of infected for as long as possible, fighting human npcs, motorcycle races, go karting, etc
@@ethan0998 all yes,good variety of both human and less than human enemies,and wait till you see the games version of "bosses" (aka hords) it's a true masterpiece and even in late game you feel lime your being hunted,great progression
@@ethan0998 the game is super fun, even more than State of Decay games. And it has a huge world map too. But be warned, Days Gone will require you decent PC specs to play it smoothly
Love the guns in this game, I downloaded a mod that gives them the appropriate ballistics and rate of fire to their real counterparts and realistic looking suppressors. Makes using the us556 a lot more satisfying
Deacon was in the army before the apocalypse, but the way he handles some weapons here is absurd, such as with the .22 rifle having more kick than a .50 rifle. Also, some weapons have inaccurate rate of fire, such the PPSH firing slower than the real one. Reload animations are actually great, despite incorrect reloads on some weapons. Still, these are just some nitpicks I have as this game is 100% a total blast to play.
Absolutely fraking enjoyed watching this Awesome weapons showcase of Days Gone Really liked All of these weapons, but my Most Definite favorite is The Growler
What i love fron this game, Deacon's face showing an expression when he did something hard like shooting a gun with high recoil, reloading or tired after runing Edit: just look at his face after flashbang exploded at 12:55 😂
After playing it a lot recently, i didn't know than the BND-150 was a weapon from Syphon Filter, nice easter egg tho. Same for the mighty stun gun which you can have if you've founded all 18 IPCA pieces and get the final ending. After that, you can craft it and burn everything you want.
I've always had a personal gripe about miniguns. Just the name seems strange to me. I know that it's a smaller version of the tank-mounted Vulcan weapon, but I still don't consider such a weapon "mini." The Growler, however, does match that description, since it's small enough to be held like a rifle.
I'd like the enemy NPCs have more variety of weapons, not just the same sawed-off shotgun of always, the same pistol as Deek, and the AK47 I'm not saying that everyone always, obviously it's not a good idea that you can get the best weapon in the game in a early random encounter, but something similar to the Anarchist camps, which have better weapons than the rest of the factions That in the missions to raid camps, depending on the faction, they have more advanced weapons without being too op, especially the militia deserters
Unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll ever get a second Days Gone, there were plans for it but basically everything got scrapped and it never got beyond conceptualization so far.
No it didn't get scraped. They are supposed to be releasing it by the end of 2023-beginning of 2024. Ps4 only as that's what the game started on and will be released for PC by 2026

Just a heads up that the first pistol Deacon has is not an M9, not actually sure what it's supposed to be based off of, but it's weird that they went for this chunky, blocky looking pistol, as opposed to the M9 seen in the trailer, would've loved to have actually had an M9 in this game since it's my all time most fav handgun but unfortunately that didn't happen.
Ok, everything is great, mostly, but the number of shots to casings ejected really annoys me, look at how many shots the faster firing automatic weapons have to the amount of casings ejected. The easiest weapon to notice this with is the Growler.
I really dislike the distance at which projectiles disappear(seems to be something around 20m for buckshot LMAO) and the fact that ALL magazined weapons have the same relad animation.I don't get why they went cheap on this part
If only some of those guns were in the actual game on ps4 for deacon to use.the first gun u showed doesn't exist on ps4 version, nor the pup tarvor, nor flamethrower, nor panzerfaust
I'm just a little concerned over dumping mags and speedloaders. In a zombie apocalypse I don't think it'd do you any good throwing them away when you can just purchase ammunition and reuse empty mags.

Where did you get all the weapon that aren't in history mode? Im bout to finish again the game in survivor II, but can't see a lot of these weapon, for example; the growler
Did.....did he....did he just reload a minigun like an assault rifle?... Okay, all nit-picking aside, I really enjoy the reloads!, (save for the highly cursed LMG and heavy weapon reloads) You can really feel the power in certain weapons, though...why in the world was that AK mag so short? I was kind of confused by that one. Aside from that, I enjoyed this! Nice stuff!
I really like the tactical-9 Glock, but I can never find it. Is this weapon unlocked throughout the game or you can buy this at a merchant shop? 🤷🏽♂️🤔
Its been a couple of years, i havent played this game almost at all, but every once in a while i still wonder, like, whats up with the goofy ass default 9mm pistol on this game?! It looks like a nerf!
Some of the reload animations are so wrong, you can just swing the gun and the magazine will eject on his on, doesn’t work that way, I know is a game, but still.
