I really appreciate you being so matter-of-fact and open about menstruation! In terms of frugality and sustainability, it seems like you'd love a menstrual cup, curious if you've ever tried one or would want to. Definitely has been a game-changer for me!

The garlic situation, you could freeze it in batches. Like in an ice-cube tray or put it in a freezer safe bag and flatten it out, freeze it as a sheet and just break off what you need. ;)

I’ve used the ice cube method for so many things. I also use my silicone cupcake cases to prep things I want in larger lumps, I blanch celery and freeze them for use in the base of meals as I don’t like celery raw and it means I would otherwise waste it.

Freeze the minced garlic. Use your ice cube tray (or an old one) to freeze cubes and put cubes in ziplock bag (or glass Tupperware) in the freezer.

You can freeze garlic or potion them into little containers if you use them slowly :)

I have two dogs and whenever I try to do any sort of exercise, they immediately find me and think it's playtime, jumping around and snuffling my face. I have given up on exercise at home. Also, get a new ice cube tray and freeze the garlic into cubes. You can basically use it the same as you'd use fresh garlic, but with a little extra time for it to thaw. (But you can also just toss it in still frozen.) But I recommend a new ice cube tray so that you don't end up with garlic-tasting ice.

hahah omg the garlic jar😂 you can freeze it, tho. divide it in a ice tray or some silicone molds, even bags, and then you can use it straight out of the freezer

I definitely relate to the new year not feeling like...anything happened LOL. I'm shook that we're already halfway through January?! I've been trying to take it slow to ease myself into the year and not pressure myself with big goals. It's working so far, thankfully! And I'm glad to hear it from someone else too. Also Giiirl let me tell you about U by Kotex's thin pads! Once I tried it, I never used Always again.. I call them diapers to my sisters who refuse to see the light LOL. But make sure you get the thin ones in the black boxes, their regulars are not good.

It was so nice hearing you talk about worrying. I'm sorry you were going through that, but it's always a nice reminder knowing that I'm not alone. My word of the year is Present to remind myself that the only day I can do anything about is today. Yesterday is gone and done, and I have no idea what is happening tomorrow, so worrying about it is a waste of time and energy!

Fashion vlogs! brands/stores, style inspiration... I don't know if this is Canada-wide, but in November I was at Coles (in Alberta) and they had mystery books at the till! You can't see the book, but they are staff picks with intriguing short descriptions of the book inside, and all less than $10. Mine said 'for fans of different cultures and Pride and Prejudice". It's called Ayesha At Last, and I haven't read it yet. Also - the entire proceeds go to local charities.

Just finished my first book of the year "tell the Bees that I am gone" by Diana Galbaldon the 10th book in the series and I loved it. Reading a new series now "the Shardlake series" by CJ Sansome. I bought the 7th book and was so intrigued went back to the 1st book on my Kobi Account already up to Chapter 22 so guess I am hooked lol

Please keep Tea Time with Cait. I love it. I’ve purchased the first three Harry Potter books and my goal is to read the complete series. I also got the conair fabric shaver I cannot wait to use it on my couch. And the Always pads are extremely comfortable and flexible. I love that they’ve changed their design.

I'm actually about to finish Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb! I picked it up one day all because you recommended it and it got me interested in therapy and I'm really really enjoying it so thank you! I'm also currently doing Yoga with Adriene's 30 day yoga challenge! I decided to do the 22 (books) in 2922, but with a bit of a twist - 11 fiction, 11 non-fiction and all ebooks I already own, but haven't actually read. I'll read more than 22 books, but it's time to start reading what I've got. But then CBC announced the list for this year's Canada Reads and now I'm even more conflicted... :)

So I was struggling last year with such dry skin and such a dry scalp that I was just uncomfortable all day. There are three things I did that I think really helped. I started taking probiotics, I started adding hemp hearts to almost all of my meals (they are a great source of vegan omega 3 and 6 -they also have a very mild flavor you almost don't realize you added them), and I increased my water intake. I saw a huge difference! Might be worth a try.

I really enjoyed this video, i felt like it hit how I was feeling. Like you I put a lot of emphasis on my age. I recently turned 20 and I just made it bigger deal than it was supposed to be. I felt like I was hitting a timeline on whah I don’t know? But thanks for helping me feel less alone. One book I am currently reading right now is The Secret Bridesmaid by Katy Birchall. I would like to hear about a love life?
