Started watching in the summer of '84 with my girlfriend while laid off. My quotes to her in order; week 1; "Come on let's go swimming, I don't want to watch this." week 2; "who's that again?", week 3; "shh, I can't hear!" and week 4; "no we aren't going swimming, Days of our lives is going to be on in a little while!"
This version of the “Days of our Lives” theme is my favorite. Unfortunately, I don’t think there exists anywhere the entire recording, until the very end, where the instruments completely finish before the recording ends. The recording always fades out a little before. Arrggghhhh!
THIS WAS THE 1983-93 VERSION BEFORE THEY DID THE 1993 CLOSING THEME!! THE ORIGINAL DAYS OF OUR LIVES CLOSING THEME WAS FROM 1965-1982!! ALL 3 DAYS OF OUR LIVES CLOSING THEMES ARE SOMEWHAT THE SAME BUT AT THE SAME TIME ARE VERY DIFFERENT!!
