I so appreciate the fact Dayshawn’s GF and her Mom are also involved with the whole family. I love seeing two families that can come and do things like this together! It’s such a special thing!

I 100% understand the want to spoil your child. I grew up very poor so I wanted to make sure I could provide for my kids more than just what they needed. It’s important to make them feel special on their day. HOWEVER, you need to be aware on how this will eventually change their mindset of the world. How things work. How sometimes life isn’t fair and the majority of the time things aren’t handed to them on a silver platter just because they want it. The value of saying thank you and being grateful for what they are given. Not just expecting because it’s what they are used to. It’s also important to be aware of how many kids you have. Of course you know but if you don’t treat them all the same when it comes to how you celebrate, it can be detrimental to their self esteem. More one on one time is really important too so no child feels like they are being left out. More than just once every few months. I get that this is your way of providing for your family but if you feel the need to constantly bribe and beg your children to make money for you by having them in matching outfits and saying their favorite color then maybe some more effort can be put into teaching them some life lessons. Giving back and independence. Just a thought.

What I love most about the birthday videos you do for your children is how it is out of pure love. I dealt with infertility for 10 years and I totally see your beautiful soul when you are shopping for them. It’s not the money you spend it’s the love and planning you give each one of them. Can I just say I absolutely love Josh’s involvement with the gift most dads are just like okay cool put my name on it but the fact that he has a smile on his face while helping is so incredibly amazing. Ps please get him those shoes the way his face lit up and smiled was like his inner child was happy. I know he’s dad but dads are deserving of gifts like that as well! I love that you guys can give these kids such an amazing birthday and holidays! I couldn’t be more happy to watch the love you both give to each one and continue to make them feel so special on their special days!!!

They are all so so blessed much more blessed than so many people out here in my city... I think the amount they spent for one kids birthday will be rent for a year for me.. I hope they grow up to be fine people and be grateful forever for the things they are getting like everyday.

The sneakers alone were gift enough. As someone commented. People who are used to having money are more frugal. We live comfortably. I reuse gift bags and reuse anything I am able to save money. I know that tomorrow I could wake up and itt can all be gone. Our kids were spoiled. But, not to excess. Now we do the same for the grandkids. Teach them that just because you want it. Doesn’t mean you will get it. Spending time and loving them and doing simple things will be remembered Then what they got for their birthday at age 13. My kids when talking about growing up always go to the fun times not the material items.

My budget for birthday gift is $50. Same for Christmas and she has spent over $2,000 for a 13 year old boy. Not that his age matters. But what will you do next year. Crazy. Or, how will his mother feel. Does she make the kind of money that she can buy for her children like this. Big let down if not

My daughter’s birthday is October 9th and she picked “cutesy spooky” theme and it was so much fun to plan!! She picked the colors bubblegum pink and black, with sparkly bats and ghosts lol I got her a cute black birthday shirt that said “Birthday Ghoul” and she wanted to wear all black so she wore a black tutu with her shirt knotted to the side and black pom pom hair ties with space buns. Funnest party I’ve planned out of all 7 of her parties she’s had!

Dashawn and his sister seems so chill. It’s good to see him smile and happy. HBD 🎉
