This was for food, paper products and cleaning supplies. When you are already hauling people, linens and luggage you don't have room to haul provisions as well.

As a mom of 8, we drive from Michigan to Florida every year for a family vacation. I spend the first day unpacking and then grocery shopping so i can cook for our family of 10 for the week. Our rental always supplies cookware, etc. Way cheaper than eating out. Next year I'd like to do a cruise though so I can actually relax 😂

So hard to believe her children couldn’t pack their own toiletries and you have to start from scratch. Your spending is unbelievable. I see comments that it is her business what she spends, and that is correct, and I don’t have to watch. I rarely do because I can’t stand her waste. So many families can’t feed their children and she blows money like it is going out of style. Who doesn’t bring supplies from home? Insane spending.

Why don’t you rent a U-Haul truck and fill it with your stash at home of food and bring it to vacation rental. Probably would be much cheaper and less time consuming than going and shopping for exactly what you have at home already. 🙄🙄🙄

I cant see the point in buying more reusable water bottles if you're still buying all those individual bottles , just because the kids like them !! You've said previously they open them and they leave them lying around, unfinished, so wouldn't it make sense to encourage the kids to use their reusable bottles !!

I just got back from 3 weeks at the same beach and did not buy 1/2 that much for 15 people. Of course I took my own sheets and towels from my house I didn’t buy all new 😳 cleaning supplies ? All houses have cleaning supplies ( for quick clean ups ) and you pay a fee to have the house cleaned when you leave . If I had to go through all this I would go to an all inclusive or a cruise it would be cheaper and no work.

Not sure where you stayed that you paid a fee to have the house cleaned but we have never done that. The renter is expected to leave the house clean. A broom is provided but we bring our own supplies. And you had 15 people for 3 weeks and didn’t spend as much as Alicia did? How often did you go out to eat m?

I work for an Airbnb company and we supply everything but the food. I don't understand the excess. If you call the customer service number we will bring you more supplies if needed without any extra charge.

Good idea!! Been given numerous times.. Just too lazy to follow thru.. plus most kids, too spoiled bratts to reuse water bottle.. Day, twins, and ALL three younger bio kids!! Accidentally "lose" misplace reusable cups!! BS excuse all old enough to be responsible. IMO-The Twins, Das, Bod, Har.. are definitely spoiled brats.. they don't take responsibility. WHY should they Lushie never taught them that.. She'll just replace it.. 5 youngest are the worst bratts!!

You’re looking at 14 people, 3 meals a day, for 7 days, 14x3x7=294 meals. Rounding up, she spent $1800. Divide $1800 by 294 you’re looking at $6.12 a meal. No way you can get the same kind of meal at a restaurant there for $6. And I’m not including snacks. Way cheaper to buy groceries and make your own meals.

I don’t understand why you don’t bring stuff from home… you said you’ve been coming for years and never bring anything necessary… just seems extremely excessive and wasteful. I don’t know why you need 168 bowls… if each of the 14 ppl use a bowl for four meals a day that only is 56 bowls needed… but not every person will use a bowl for every meal or a plate. Image how much money you could save if you were wiser with your spending.

She could have brought 2/3 of that from her overflowing grocery store-pantry and saved money. And not wasted bc she’s not going to finish it all. Half the bottles and boxes will be only partially used. Or completely unopened. Can’t she just pick like 3-4 snack options and call it good? Why do they need every single snack and cereal option they have ever liked available to them at all times forever? It’s called patience and control. No need for the gluttony. I know it's not easy being a mom, she does a lot for her family, which is amazing, that's why she deserves to relax on a vacation. Honestly, I thought that after so many years together, Josh would have planned at least a weekend getaway for her, either for mother's day or her birthday!! She deserves to be pampered, to relax and have a peaceful weekend. I don't know, I just wouldn't want her to burn out, she is the literal definition of super woman. ❤️❤️

It is their vacation, let them enjoy their time. They know their family and making sure they do what works for them. Not everyone is the same. Also they are a big family, ordering out and eating out for so many people is expensive because it is multiple times a day. She is smart shopping and getting the stuff she knows kids will like . Ends up being a savings.

Geeze, this does not look like a vacation esp for Alicia having to do all this shopping when she should be relaxing. I would order pizza a couple times during the week and have bologna sandwich day, make noodles one day and I would say kids we are not home so don't expect all the snacks and usual stuff we buy, lol. It would be less stressful to order take out than to have to do all the shopping she has to do but to each their own I suppose. Have a great vacation and do less working, lol.

How about packing half a dozen crock pot frozen meals to just dump in when you get there since you'll eat out a bunch too. No need to buy every ingredient. Grab a few packs of snacks and drinks and fruit and ice cream at the store and done.

We just came back from 2 weeks at the beach, Frisco NC. Myself, husband,adult kids, 3 grandchildren so 9 altogether. We brought some things but bought groceries for the house. Everyone did their own thing. But we had several family dinners together, I cooked mostly but I like cooking. I didn’t do breakfast, lunches were mostly sandwiches on the beach or hotdogs, salads at the beach house, things like that. You can’t eat out every meal, it’s too cumbersome
