Why Film on a Bicycle
Traditional video makers tend to walk, which unless great care is taken, produces a bounce in the video footage. I find filming on a motorbike can be too fast, not allowing you to take in the scenery. The bicycle allows me to interact with people whilst providing smooth footage. If you find it is still too fast, then you can slow the video speed down to half speed, which will still be 30 frames per second.
Why doesn’t the footage look clear
Sometimes I make an error when shooting the video (but very rarely) The most common cause is that your internet connection on YT has set the resolution to below 4K, so check your settings.
Camera Equipment
Since starting the channel I have used my trusty DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (Creator combo)
The Combo comes with a Bluetooth microphone which has given great performance, even when riding at speed. I film at 4K & 60 frames per second, my light and ISO settings are on Auto. The Camera is strapped to my left wrist (so it might appear that I am close to things on the left). I control the Camera head via an application on my phone (Mimo), using my right hand Thumb. Action cameras to date, have smaller light sensors and are not competitive at present for low light filming.

Excellent video David, don’t listen to the Walking Street plebs! This video is way better than a night time trip down walking street. I did see your Go-Go video and nothing wrong with it but I was reminded how disappointing the two- foot shuffle is!

Absolutly, I don't hate walking street, but it is very different than it was 15 years ago. If one wants to party with Asians, Indians, or Russians and pay premium tourist prices for everything, then this is the place.

Nice bonus ride. I enjoy the daytime views, less hustle and get to see a lot more of where everything is. Far better than WS imo. Good for newbies. Mr Jacks been around for years, really good copy watches and gives a guarantee too. Kungs is excellent. Lots of good breakfast options in that part of town.

Hi David great video and nice day ride and very easy to go through lk metro then the evening when you are struggling to go through and Kung's looks they have a very good breakfast love sausage with oignons and Jack have a good price for watches me my waterproof watches cost to change the batteries and gasket 20.00cdn so 500baht and today here in Chateauguay was 22°Celsius so i close down my inground pool for winter since it was warm tomorrow's temperatures drop at 6°Celsius. thanks again mate, Chaiyapoon my most favourite road in Pattaya, it was the first place I ever stayed with Dave Collier at the Canturbury tales, I will always have a soft spot for Pothole, walking street is probably my least favourite road in Pattaya the place is a total rip off. ps, my little bike never showed up beside my quote and I've just checked and my membership has been cancelled for some reason, it wasn't me so I have no idea why, I will renew it now Steve

I am tempted too ask for more day time ride arounds... I know Trevor does them too from time too time, (which I watch as well)but it is a very different nosey around the place :) 120 baht for battery... £3 and 50 baht £1.5...... so £4.50 and I presume that included fitting.... and done on the spot... and he uses good products..... a new battery here would be £10 easy and probably another £15 for the gasget and maybe £20 to fit and probably a week to do lol

There's a rumour that the new GC 'The Cat House' has already been sold. I try to avoid returning to any one bar too often during the day as that's a habit I want to avoid, however the occasional visit to a GC in the afternoon is IMO a better option. 😁 But I'm more likely to be in a beachfront coffee shop in Jomtien.

THE CAT HOUSE is not very good, charge 200 baht for lady drinks, but all the ladies are 40+ and not very much fun lol, I can not see it lastinf as it is, but it looks great inside.

!st time I visited Pattaya was 2001,I stayed for 2 weeks and thought it was a great place to live but later when I started to come to Thailand every year from 2002 to 2010 I could only stay there for 3 days ,I saw it in a different light,it was a nasty,dirty perverting City,I got tiered of the Hustle and started staying in ChiangRai for 3 months at a time,i really like my time there,Pattaya is an aquired taste and I got nothing against guys liivng and visitng there,to each there own.I enjoy watching your videos and brings back memories for me,I will probably never come back to Thailand again but at least I can see thru your videos,Thank You so much for your hard work.

I like Buakhao side near Tukcon there are some decent bars and you don't ripped off with the price of Singha beers they average 50-60 BAHT at night alright you don't get the Gogo standard girls to chat to but i find them more friendly and there isn't a language barrier problems because they are 35-40 year olds who have had to learn english when they were in there 20's. The problems in the world are the socialist left who are throwing money and military hardware at Ukraine whilst they are throwing money at the illegal economic migrants in the billions of pounds but stuff the native British citizen who are getting screwed over by this socialist communist uk government.
