I'm by now means an expert on this but I had a dash cam fitted the other day, I have custom headlights with DRL instead of side lights, upon them fitting the dash cam by drl on passenger side won't work anymore (did find this out till the next day) but all of lights work fine, would they have blown a fuse? As I didn't think it was a fuse problem otherwise the other lights won't work?

If I'm installing DRL on a car that doesn't have DRL and I'm gonna tap a fuse with a piggyback fuse tap. what rating of fuse should I use for the DRL?

I have a 2015 impala ltz. Front parking lights do not come on but they light up as turn signals and they light up with remote start. Any idea why they don’t come on with headlights or parking lights??? Thank you

I have 2002 Chevy suburban. Running lights not working. I replaced the bulbs, then added new sockets, changed the DRL fuse (even though it looked fine), switched out the relay fuses.still no luck. Maybe the sensor that turns on running lights is faulty or perhaps it is not properly grounded? I am out of ideas.

In my 2010 ls silverado crew cab the back left tailight wont turn on when I'm driving I changed it thinking they where gone but nothing they still don't work it's just my left side the right one works the left only when I break what could it be ?

so my head lights and drl not coming on. replaced fuses and relay. Came back from mountains at 9k feet and both headlights dont work or low beam ones. all other lights turn on and work. selector switch from drl to lights on and nothing. should i replace light bulb, and would altitude have a role. 2013 gmc sierra.

Question. i have an 02 Dodge Ram 1500. My 4 pin flat connecter on vehicle for trailer works fine. EXCEPT THE RUNNING LIGHT. My 7 pin connector on vehicle for trailer works fine. EXCEPT THE RUNNING LIGHT. What do you recommend? Thanks.

I got a issue with my 99 silverado. A couple things..The DLR lights won't work replaced the sockets and new bulbs. Also my headlights stay on all the time. The turn off automatically when I start it up and shut it off. The headlight switch only works when the key is place on. But won't work when you start it up. How do I fix these issues?

juanojeda84 my 99 Silverado did the same thing. I tried everything but ended up being the ambient light sensor on the dash that makes he auto lights come on by theirselves. It was only like $15 and you will see videos saying you have to dissemble the dash to put it in. That’s not true. You can remove the stereo and reach through the hole where it was and change it out. Just takes some patience!! Lol. My daytime running lights still don’t work but I’ve not checked into those to see if the bulbs are blown or what’s the issue because I’m not a big fan of the running lights anyway. But the headlights work as they should now. Hope this helps and a little piece of advice if you switch out the sensor and the lights don’t immediately go off give it a little time and driving. Took mine the second trip out before they actually started working properly. If you need anything else please just ask.

Hyttman2015 Tjsmma mine was right in the middle of the dash pad out next to the windshield. Looked like a little bubble best I can explain it lol.

My daytime running lights are not working on my drivers side of truck. I have a 2016 gmc sierra 2500 and I cannot find any fuses labeled DRL.. I started by checking all of my fuses under the hood and in the cab and Nothing is burned out. What should I do?

You will need a scanner that can scan the BCM. If the computer isn't telling the DLR to turn on it won't. So the scanner has to tell the computer it is okay to turn back on assuming the bulb is good. Thanks for watching!

You need to scan the BCM and see if the computer is telling the light to turn on or not. I'm assuming you have a newer car. Thanks for watching!

Normally fuse only blow when there is a short circuit so it will most likely it will blow again.

Hi. I have a 08 escalade ext and both fuses are good and still don't have DRL coming on, not even the license plate light come on. Just reverse light and brake lights comes on. The front DRL do come on when I put a bright flash light on the sensor on top of my dash. I have no idea what to do or check. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I have the similar problem on my Tahoe, 2007. All lights are working, but DRL and the regular tail lights want work. Do you have a solution, find out yet ?

@@djpoertsch I have the same vehicle, same issue, I've looked into it, and one logical step/ fix might be the ground wire to all three bulbs is a black wire. Guys say they made their own ground and problem fixed

Because there are many many different fuse box configurations and all of them are different. It would take me a life time to show where that fuse is on every single car ever made. So just looking up where your fuse is in your fuse box is much more feasible. This info is also located in your owner's manual.
