Dang, I remember watching the end of this game in my 7th-grade science class. Half of the class was rooting for OSU, and the other half was rooting for UD. Good middle school memories. Those were the years that I lived for college basketball. Thank you for bringing me back to my favorite years as a young college basketball fan.

I still remember catching the end of this game in my high school physics class and being the only person rooting for Dayton (lots of OSU fans in the Cincy area). Good memories.

This was the 5th time in the past 6 tournaments that Ohio State lost a game in which it had the final possession to either win or tie. Their six tournament losses from 2009-14 were by 2, 3, 2, 2, 4 and 1 point. No wonder Thad Matta looked like he was 60+ years old when he was only in his 40s that whole time.

One of my earliest memories of watching March madness. I was staying home sick and watched basketball all day and this game is the one I remember so clearly 9 years later

Dayton hit practically all of their free throws down the stretch and that really made the difference. Free throws MATTER! & Aaron Craft was incredible in crunch time

He worked REALLY well with Uncle Verne Lundquist - one of the best announcer pairings ever in sports. They had almost a Summerall/Madden type rhythm. Plus Raft is around 80 years old nowadays. Still glad he finally got the opportunity to start calling Final Fours late in his career though.

this ud team had heart and guts not like this 2024 team which i am disgusted that they even made the tournament but they will get beat quickly ,they will lose to nevada
