This is the full Saturn version of 'The King of Speed'. Composed by Takenobu Mitsuyoshi Instrumental version : • Daytona USA - The King... Vocal Acapella version : • Daytona USA - The King... ROOOLLLINNGG STAARRTTT!! 2fast4u
@@nicojuro Also, not the same genre, but the battle music from Xenoblade 1 and 2 has some insane tunes if you're looking for a more rock edge. There are still a lot of Japanese games with incredible soundtracks. But you don't encounter the late 80s/early 90s sounds as much.
@@al3xm3rc3r0 Believe in Yourself from Sonic CD (that entire soundtrack really), Burning Rangers theme, Katamari on the Rocks, Twister (The World Ends With You), Jet Set Radio soundtrack.... those are the ones I can think of right now
"Brake is on the left, gas is on the right." "Turn around, you're headin' the wrong way!" "Are you alright?" Those quotes with this song will forever be etched in my mind. Daytona USA was my childhood.
"It's just like you waited for me to get close at like, the fucking 400 yard line _and you just smeared doo doo across my face_ and then let me get my touchdown..."
ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLIIIIIING STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART I just typed that on an iPone and my finger went numb
Playing this on your car stereo actually nullifies all road and highway speed limits in the USA. You have to paint your car red and put a "GALLOP" decal on the trunk so the cops know your deal, though.
@@vastohs Were they telling you to try and go easy on the car or were they trying to tell you that there is a crash on turn 3, following up with telling you to watch yourself? 😂
i was watching a video on a tv program about games in 95 aired in Portugal. As soon as i saw bits of Daytona USA i had to come here to listen to this! Classic good days
ROLLING STAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAART
i always thought this song said "Rolling Star!" since i didn't know this was from DAYTONA and it makes much more sense that it says "Rolling Start!" because of racing!!!
@@AOOINGE yeah, this is a reference to a video called "the prey experience" in which, this music plays in the background. I suggest you to watch it, you won't be dissapointed
This game is so perfect that I'm unable to play any other NASCAR game without comparing it to this. No other game compares apart from the sequel but not quite.
@Lakeyshuh Carolina Indeed, they brought the much needed challenge to games, a thing we're lacking greatly today. Bring back the arcades and the old Sega!!!
Actually the arcade world wide release was in 1994. This music is for the Sega Saturn release which was in JP 1 April 1995 ,NA 11 May 1995 and EU 8 July 1995.
man this is insane....sega rulez!
