There's hip hop in Dayton Ohio too not just the gangsta shit. 20 years ago we had them clubs locked down with open mic cyphers. Elbo's monday night, Night Owl thursday night, and anywhere we could get in every other night, Skratchmatiks on the tables and even had bboys in the crowd lightin shit up. I guess we all grew up and had wack ass kids.

@@maxc2k270 No doubt! Thanks for putting these out! Looks good. Will spread the word. You say Issa Ali is on it? I didn't see him or his Village Fam crew. Surprised you don't mention Yalee either - ironically he's on the national charts!
White boy bubby the buckeye boss got some good songs. So do fat Josh and the money horders closing down the streets when they drive by. But also one the only ppl i.k trying to do any good and make a positive influence on the community. I was born at good Samaritan. I don't know why ppl say Dayton is so bad forreal. I've been all over them streets from the east to the west side. Dayton might have alot of dope boys. But thugs? Might have a hand full who is real but Ppl dying from heroin over dose. There's a couple blocks that r hot but I also left bout 3 years ago to get out tha way
Let's replace artistry, skill, wordplay and appeal with the mindless and repetitive theme of being or advocating for the common Dayton street thug. Put a list together about MC's rapping about making the community better, escaping the social ills of the ghetto, inspiring the youth, taking care of your family through an honest day's work and not flooding your neighborhood with drugs over a beat and rhythm that is not 130 BPM.😢
