I spent a number of months in Cincinnati a few years back, and being the curious and somewhat reckless fool that I am, walked through this exact area of Price Hill because I wanted to see as much of the city as I could and wanted to (good and bad parts). I even did the haul across the highway and up the hill on foot. Man, it was the longest hike I've ever taken. Great exercise, at least 🤣
Zak, I enjoyed the video. Price Hill is vastly different from 50 years ago. The five way intersection in the video. There was the old church and the large white color building to it's left. That white color building was the original location of the very first "Skyline" chili.
Hey man just wanted to say you have great content and I like how you value our city actually showing people real human nature out here in Cincinnati, OH. You ever thought about doing reactions videos to local artist music ?
i grew up in Cincinnati English Woods when I left and came back to visit i realized how depressing and old this city was but i see they putting some money into it and trying to bring it into the future....keep it up🙏🏽
I've ventured through those first three while I was in Cincinnati a few years ago. It was an interesting, out of body experience for someone like me who has grown up and lived in middle/upper class neighborhoods. Westwood/McHenry I'd heard about recent shootings at a market over there, so I decided to avoid going over in that area.
Brother you make sure that you keep up the good work homie..we need to link up one day.im from downtown cincinñati ohio and once you have me on here your shit going to go sky high..no cap
My brother live over there. It was trashy in yhe 89's except it was all yt people. Can't nobody be real and say that Price Hill was nice unless they are 80 years old or something.
People that say PH is nice are talking about the areas that just got swallowed up by it. Like the area that used to be Covedale. It's nice over there. And I refuse to call it PH
@@fathooptiebang2137 Everybody says "In the 50's....." Hey, nothing is the same as 70 years ago. 70 years ago the houses in Price Hill were 30-50 years old. Now they're 100 years old, and they weren't mansions back then either. They were normal, affordable houses for the working class and they still are. I went to West High but I came from Bond Hill which is 95% black. I thought the houses were trash when I went through Price Hill in the 80's and 90's and the kids from Price Hill were pretty much the same as the houses. When you have older, mostly dilapidated houses, you get poorer buyers and residents. That's how that works. Price Hill was never Hyde Park in housing or the people who lived in them.
price hill is definitely hood but not the worst hood in cincy....and at night time them price hill police will beat your ass whether your are white black or orange, them damn price hill cops are punks.... half of my family lives out there but i got up out of ohio...michegan legal grower now lol
