DayZ Underground Bases Mod Guide 

I think my underground base despawned? I built the first stage and upgraded it once. Then I went out and gathered some more supplies. I was probably gone about an hour. When I came back, I think it despawned. Is this normal?

@@ChicagoFaucet.etc. difficult to say, could be server specific issue with types lifetimes, could be a glitch. Best bet is speak to the server owner or ask in the discord for that mod, link in the pinned comment.

Yes, afaik you are unable to make anything underground in terms of the basic map geometry, which is why it is in the sky. Most map edits that have underground features are usually areas built above areas of the map that have raised edges around it.

that is a good question! I would assume the base upgrade adds onto the side. I haave asked the question in the mods discord though and will report back

This is the official word from the mod developer: ChrisPBacon - Today at 04:25 Storage stays in the same area it was placed in each tier, storage may be in the walls slighty depending on placements nd storage type though of course.

Hey! Depending on the territory mod that is running you may need a flag inside the base itself.

i dont have a territory mod, but still cant play any item@@THYERS

My assumption is that just the lock is removed, the entrance is a trigger to teleport you to the base. The base being in the sky as you are unable to have anything under the ground in the main game.

That will depend on how your server is setup i.e. Omega Manager, Nitrado, GTX, Local server. If you use Omega Manager then you can use the browser GUI to add the mod, Hosted (Nitrado and maybe GTX) FTP the mod to your server folder then add it to your Startup mod list Local Server then see my tutorial: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RXnBHYCBni0.htmlsi=mGrgKCKQaNlwqIG9

i tried no luck tbh wish it was bigger its like a solo bunker with only able to lock the hatxh

@@leemac89because that server has a flagpole mod u place that flagpole inside ur underground base and u can build and place stuff inside

You would need a workbench or a flagpole (depending on what the server has chosen to use)

By default the Types.xml file is like 45 days for the base itself. But for storage persistance and such u will, like placing storage items if you use terrritory mods

@@THYERS I can't place any storage containers inside the base due to not being able to place outside of a territory. Is there any way around that? Do not see a config file.

You should be able to use this on any DayZ modded server....not too sure about consoles tho. You add the mod from the Steam Workshop steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3029439021

If you own a private server then you can add the mod and any player that joins that server can use the Underground Bases mod as shown in this video. If you are a player then you can join a community server that has this Mod added to it. You can use the filter section in DZSA launcher to find servers with a specific mod by searching for the mod name.

This is on the assumption that everyone has cheats and you can also lock the entrance

In theory yes, but it depends on the raiding mod you use I guess.

I discovered this mod on one server. Liked it. Then realized that nothing could be raided on that server. Not even normal bases or tents.

You can build a regular/vanilla fence, or several inside your underground base. It becomes tricky for the raider to use explosives. He'll need a lot of ammo...

It depends on the server running the mod but as a general rule.ofnthimb I would say yes

I had a wooden crate and some military storage with 300 slots and it didnt despawn when I upgraded....had to get pliers to dismantle military storage because the bunker got bigger and it was sitting in the middle of the room 😅

If you use DZSA Launcher just type the mod name in the filter box and it will list servers that are using that mod 😉

search "Day After Tomorrow" in the launcher

yeah that is the teleport sending you into the sky to the base.....teleporting in DayZ is janky AF lol
