First off I think the guy dogde a bullet, shes a walking red flag 2nd, I think she loves her mother. Not in a daughter way, but lover. If she said "Im with my mom" she basiclly said, "Im dating her. Im already taken." Both have serious problems to let go. And if they dont change that by thrapy, a little girl gets dragged into the same toxicity. The daughter is already jealous and that will create an unsafe place for a child.

I have a Colombian mother, and I can say confidently that the culture there is much more conservative than in the US (where I live). I can’t believe they used that as a justification 🤦🏻‍♀️ Also, congrats to Daz on his engagement!! The mother wants it like this, she cultivated it and now does things to make her feel jealous. It is common to do this with dogs and parrots, make them possessive of you so you feel wanted.

This definitely feels like emotional incest and I'm sure there is a mental component as well but we can only speculate. This mother-and-daughter duo clearly relies on one another for emotional validation, even with the intimacy issues they both have. It's very likely that it is emotional incest. Agreed haha I’m a new dad (I’m 25) I used to go out drinking and parting and stuff, but as soon as my daughter came along, that stopped, and honestly, a tea, a bath, and just relaxing, and even going to bed around 9pm gives me so much more Joy now than it ever used to before 😂

My hypothesis is that her mother neglected her severely until she started displaying the behaviors of her mother as she got older so that her mom could have a "mini-me" party buddy. However that neglect most likely caused the development of Borderline Personality Disorder in the daughter and her mother is her favorite person. So in order to keep getting positive attention and reinforcement from her mother she acts like her twin and is obsessed with her so that her mother will continue to love her and give her the positive attention she always wanted and is now getting.

First of all, congrats on your engagement! So happy for ya daz!! Secondly, We all love our moms and our parents, but to love your parent to THIS extent and to have an obsession over them? I mean I was imaging it in my head and I literally was trying so hard not to gag. Luckily daz's comedy was there so it was more fun to watch with daz commentating over it. It's completely fine to love your parents but eventually you have to go and live your life and explore the world on your own. Like I love my mom, but I don't love her to the extent of literally wanting to do EVERYTHING with her. I definitely think that the daughter needs to grow up and be independent. She's getting WAY too attached to her mother, cause it's becoming weird. If I was a guy and the daughter told me, "Yeah sorry I'm with my mother." I'd be like, "....uh yeah I'm gonna go and find a girl that's not committing incest."

Clearly, in this mother daughter relationship, it’s not just mother daughter feelings. The daughter is clearly upset with another person coming into the house and disrupting the values they had originally. Seeing how young Alejandra looks, she seems so impactful (as most children are), she will either A. Start the same thing as the others B. Be abused by the daughter.

An old friend of mine her mother was waayyy too protective and growing up both children were very clingy and acted weird towards their mother like one day she woke up and my friends brother had scissors in his hand at the end of her mums bed. It made them go strange and they had insane attachment issues like going to school she would be screaming to not leave her mums side. Really upsetting
