In my opinion in mafia that’s how they teach like this,I think Mori also do that to Dazai so maybe Dazai would think that was the only way to teach Akutagawa which is wrong
he was also way stronger than current Dazai who takes the backseat and only uses his intelligence so that his subordinates don't become weak due to an overeliance on him (he revealed this when talking to Fyodor)
it's scarier when you realize he was practically having a mental breakdown and shooting a corpse to have something to take his emotions out on, if it weren't for Chuuya stopping him he would've kept going
We all know dazai doesn't have much physical strength, but he's also not that weak. Just look at the kick he gave akutagawa, my poor kid crashed into the wall(didn't know what is it so just call it wall lol) so bad. As you can see, he's not that weak(Physically) like everyone say.
I kinda dislike how old dazai looks inthe anime here considering the fact that he was only 15-18 in these scenes. The 15 manga shows him and chuuya so much younger and it makes him so much creepier and sadder
The Dazai in BSDs Beast on Moris Seat as a Mafia Boss was for me the most scary of all. I don't know why, but i fear the Dazai Mafia Boss version 10 times more than the current Mori 😅 We never know what comes next when it's Dazai and his dark side.
Well there was a reason why he did that, if you saw that ep. Dazai never hurt his subordinates unless they break the rule do something stupid, which Dazai did. And he was a mafia guy, what do you expect from him at that moment.
@@kaviya6633 Dazai is written in a fashion to make people gravitate towards him, but he's just too smart and too much of an enigma. Does really gruesome stuff and we're left wondering whether there was a reason when he says often there's no reason he sees lofty enough to really LIVE. I don't know what made him such friends with Oda, but it's his death and a promise that is keeping him from going totally unhinged to feel something. But on another note, I think he's not lacking in excitement since it must be hard to keep the Agency out of trouble...but this isn't the type of excitement that he really seeks, imo. He's chronically bored. There goes your reasons. He's a little off for exactly the same reasons that make him appealing.

I don’t think Dazai is that strong in physical strength
Imagine if Oda lived and Dazai stayed in the Port Mafia. He would've killed Mori and would be the youngest mafia boss in history. Probably he would defeat the ADA, Guild and even Fyodor with ease having so many resources and probably the strongest ability users. Damn, he might control the whole country. And yes, I know Beast exists, but I imagine this secenario with the characters as they are in here.

@@noice3195 an official AU for bsd in which odasaku is alive but dazai is the boss of the PM. the universe was created using the book by the real dazai osamu (in the actual bsd universe) to find a universe where oda is happy and writes a novel. akutagawa and atsushi's roles are switched, kyouka stays in the pm and chuuya is dazais right hand.
I think like Oda said, Dazai isnt the kind to worry about the bad and the good, however his citcumstances does influence him. In port mafia, where strenght, power and cruelty stands, he behave 10 more than that... When he is in ASD he is kinda caring goofy and calculating. While I hate the way he trained Akutagawa but from the comment he made about Akutagawa to Oda, made me realize he actually cares
I'd like to imagine what would have happened if Dazai stayed in the Port Mafia, Oda dying or not. The 3 minutes and 38 seconds of him being scary would be longer and would make him a full-fledged out more-than-not-human monster.
I'm Japanese so I know the some episode about them. Chuya and Dazai actually knew each other. Since Dazar is two years younger than Chuya Nakahara, he respected Nakahara as a senpai. They had mutual acquaintances, so the four of them went out for drinks on the first day they met. Nakahara had a bad drinking habit and was troublesome when drunk. Nakahara started complaining to Dazai. Dazai, who respected Nakahara, at first he avoided the fight by saying things like "yes" or "I see." Nakahara said this "You looks like a mackerel floating in the sky. What flower do you like?" Dazai said, "Peach blossoms," in a voice that sounded like he was about to cry. Well, mori wouldn’t have let him. Chuuya was an asset to mori and to dazai as Well. He says he wants to kill him in jest usually, but I don’t think he ever aspired to. I think he just doesn’t care In general.
I would say yes. It was his daily life. But when he joined the ADA and especially the 2 yeard before that, he had zero training and routine. You saw how akutagawa was flying away 2 times about 5 meters. I guess he has been a bit too lazy since then. And no, why would he kill Chuuya? Chuuya is for him just a tool to kill time, i think you misunderstood their relationship. And no, even if he wanted to he would not: Since Mori has fights between them forbidden, he would never do that.
I think it's not dazai's fault that he abuse akutagawa like that he was like that because of mori he is the one who teaches him those things when he was 14
No. Simlpy: It was the fastest way to test his potential. If he hadn't any it would have been a waste of time to keep him. Dazai was a logical and cruel thinker all the time and if Aku isn't good enough he would just take another subordinate in. And no, he isn't like that because of Mori, thats how he has ever been.

@@jinnaazz7237 We don't know if he had a mom and dad before he came to the mafia, please don't make any assumptions about that. He was already dark and suicidal when he came to mori with 14 (they met because Dazais suicide attempt) and the chance is VERY LOW that he went out with Mori anywhere since he is the boss, so it's unlikely he would just look at him and copy his behavior. Dazai isn't a person who is easily manipulated by the behavior of others or looks up to theirs.
